Embodied — the American developer of robots assistants who help family members about the house and also monitor a status and health of users. The company develops the platform of artificial intelligence on the basis of which robots are created.
Embodied calls the robots "emotional, intellectual and similar to people" and note that devices are created taking into account specific features and the standard of living of families. However, by June, 2018 Embodied has no commercial product.
Embodied was founded by the former top manager of Irobot Paolo Pirgianjan jointly professor of the University of Southern California Maya Matarich.

2018: Grishin Robotics investments
In June, 2018 Embodied attracted $22 million investments from group of investors among whom — Grishin Robotics fund of the chairman of the board of directors of Mail.Ru Group Dmitry Grishin.
The round was headed by venture company Calibrate Ventures. Jazz Venture Partners, Osage University Partners and Intel Capital also took part in it.
According to the cofounder and the CEO of Embodied Paolo Pirgianjan, the raised funds will be allocated for involvement of the best programmers, scientists in the field of neurology and also animators. The company is going to release the product aimed at significant changes in the market of family and personal health care.
