2020: Coupa Software purchased Llamasoft for $1.5 billion

At the beginning of November, 2020 the Coupa Software company, whose software is used by large corporations for expenditure management, announced Llamasoft purchase. Transaction amount was $1.5 billion.

In 2020 Llamasoft released the last tool - the platform based on AI for intellectual supply chain management. This opportunity, in particular, drew attention of Coupa company as she looked for the application for a supply chain which would supplement its opportunities for expenditure management.

The CEO and the chairman of Coupa Rob Bernstein considers that at integration of two solutions it is possible to receive the powerful tool for business process management.

LLamasoft gives these opportunities using a cloud platform based on artificial intelligence which allows the companies to make more reasonable decisions on a supply chain quickly, said in the statement of the company.

According to Crunchbase, Coupa within the last several years by the beginning of November, 2020 purchased in total 17 companies. The transaction with Llamasoft which has about 650 large customers including Boeing, DHL, Kimberly-Clark and GM, represents the fourth acquisition of the company in 2020.[1]

2017: Strategic alliance with Korus Konsaltingom

On August 8, 2017 Corus Consulting Group and LLamasoft company announced strategic alliance within which Corus Consulting provides to the clients implementation services and to maintenance of LLamasoft technologies in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries.

Partnership with LLamasoft allows the Russian system integrator to expand a set of services in the field of the strategy of supply chain management due to their modeling and the scenario analysis. Within the direction of optimization solutions of Corus Consulting provides the following developments of LLamasoft: platforms Supply Chain Guru, Data Guru and cloud platform of SupplyChainGuru.com.
