2023: Transfer of 5 printing houses of the Norwegian holding Amedia to the Moscow government
The president Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree, according to which the temporary management of five printing houses of the Norwegian holding Amedia was transferred. Moscow Government The corresponding document was published on November 22, 2023.
It follows from it that the city authorities will manage printing houses located in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh and Novosibirsk. The Moscow government, in accordance with the presidential decree, received 3.6 thousand ordinary shares of Prime Print Moscow JSC, 140 thousand ordinary shares of Prime Print Yekaterinburg JSC, 700 shares of Prime Print Novosibirsk JSC, 6.7 thousand shares of Prime Print Chelyabinsk JSC and 56% shares in the authorized captain of Prime Print Voronezh JSC.
Amedia, leaving the Russian market, said it was transferring control of four of six his printing houses to the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, Nobel Peace Prize winner Dmitry Muratov (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent). Before the suspension of work, Novaya Gazeta was printed in the company's printing houses.

Amedia owned a total of six printing houses in Russia, two of which - in Novosibirsk and Voronezh - were owned by the holding together with minority shareholders. In September 2023, Vladimir Putin signed a decree transferring all printing houses owned by Amedia to the management of the Federal Property Management Agency. In response, Novaya Gazeta stated that they planned to transfer the business to local management, an application was submitted to the government for such a deal. The fate of the enterprises was decided without taking into account the opinion of labor collectives and management, the publication complained then.
