2023: DDoS attacks

On December 21, 2023, Rosvodokanal announced a cyber attack on its IT infrastructure. The company made a statement in response to information that appeared in the media about significant damage to technological systems that hackers allegedly caused.

Rosvodokanal reported a cyber attack

As the publication writes with reference to Ukrainian News, which, in turn, refer to their sources, the hackers of the Blackjack group conducted a cyber attack on the resources of Rosvodokanal and caused significant damage to its IT infrastructure.

The Blackjack cyber group's Telegram channel claims that hackers allegedly managed to encrypt over 66,000 computers and delete over 50 TB of data that belonged to Rosvodokanal.

Earlier, Rosvodokanal attracted the company RTK-Solar"" to organize protection against network cyber threats and web attacks. The project was implemented on the basis of UTM and WAF services of the Solar MSS platform. For 14 Rosvodokanal sites located in different regions of the country, a single entry point has been created Internet and general security policies have been developed.

2017: PPP model

On November 16, 2011, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Rosvodokanal group of companies signed a loan agreement on the provision of 1.5 billion rubles. First Vice President of the EBRD Varel Freeman said that this is the second agreement: the company raised the first EBRD loan in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles in 2008. Thus, the total amount of credit funds provided by the EBRD to Rosvodokanal amounted to 3 billion rubles. 2009: Co-founder of the "National Union of Water Utilities"

In 2009, Rosvodokanal Group of Companies became one of the founders of NSV - the "National Union of Water Utilities" - a non-profit structure that contributes to the introduction of effective models for managing water management.

2003: Orgvodokanal Trust is part of Alfa Group and renamed Rosvodokanal
