2025: Platform Launch

In mid-April 2025, PJSC Astra Group"" together with JSC Axioms"" (Axiom JDK) and LLC Haulmont"" (Haulmont) officially launched the OpenIDE open development environment platform based on the Open Development Environment joint venture. Each of the founding companies received an equal share of 33.33% in the new legal entity, the authorized capital of which amounted to ₽120 thousand. According to Interfax, the new joint venture was created at the end of March 2025. Fedor Sazonov, who previously led the development of solutions for working with key clients at Sberbank, has been appointed CEO of the company.

The project to create the OpenIDE platform was initiated by three companies in the second half of 2024 after the Czech company JetBrains closed access to the IntelliJ IDEA service for Russian users, which is an open development environment in Java and works according to the freemium model. Initially, a non-profit partnership was created to work on the platform.

As part of the project, Haulmont is releasing a free version of the Amplicode plugin, which will provide OpenIDE with basic support for the Spring Framework, used to develop Java business applications. Axiom JDK, in turn, provides free development access to its Java platform. In addition, in the near future it is planned to ensure the integration of OpenIDE with the GitFlic source code platform, a solution of Resolut, a member of the Astra Group[1]
