Information and Analytical Center of the Moscow Department of Education

The Information and Analytical Center of the Department formations Moscow was established in 1993. To date, all his attention is aimed at the implementation of comprehensive informatization of the education system not only of the metropolis, but of the whole country.

By order of the Moscow Department of Education, the Center's specialists have developed an automated information system "Electronic recruitment of preschool educational institutions." Now, from October 1, 2010, any parent who wants to enroll his child in kindergarten can independently register him in the electronic register via the Internet on the website www.ec.mosedu.ru. If parents do not have the opportunity to use the Internet, they can contact the county resource center. In both cases, when the child registration procedure is completed, the parent receives a confirmation indicating the individual application code. On the specified site, parents will be able to observe the progress of the queue to kindergarten. The enrollment of the child will be carried out on the basis of the list in accordance with the electronic register and taking into account benefits.

In addition, the Center successfully works in the field of professional guidance for students. In 2010, laboratories of nanotechnology, resource saving, 3D technologies, electronics and IT were opened, which use unique modern equipment that combines multifunctionality, convenience and security during experiments. Classes in laboratories give children the opportunity to see with their own eyes how the mechanisms surrounding them work in everyday life, and, perhaps, even discover the potential for scientific and technical activity. On the basis of the robotics laboratory, classes on mechatronics and robotics were organized for students and consultations and preparation of teams for the Eurobot 2011 competitions are carried out. In addition, the Information and Analytical Center is one of the organizers of the Russian stage of these competitions.

During 2010, delegations from the Republic of Korea, Ukraine, Tatarstan, the Republic of Sakha and the Republic of Belarus paid an official visit to the Information and Analytical Center, in addition, the guests of the Center for 2010 were: Director of Adobe Systems, members of the Board of Directors of Cisco, as well as Director for the sale of educational products in the EMEA region in 2010. Among the partners of the Center are such well-known companies as IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, Helvar, Fagerhult, NT-MDT, Fischertechnik and PAKPAK, National Instruments, etc.
