2023: Astra Group bought Knomary

On October 4, 2023, Astra Group, which develops Astra Linux operating systems, announced the acquisition of Knomary. Financial terms and other details of the transaction were not disclosed. It is only known that we are talking about the sale of a 70.2% stake in Nomari SiAiEs LLC. The remaining 29.8% now belongs to the co-founders of the company Alexei Turchenik, Ivan Petukhov and Ivan Prishchepo.

Astra and Nomari SiAiEs believe that the deal will launch one of the most sought-after training systems on the market. On the basis of Knomary products, in conjunction with the solutions of the Astra ecosystem, you can create a full-fledged training platform "sharpened" for a specific organization. At the same time, all data on the company's information systems and its IT infrastructure will be integrated into it. Thus, theoretical knowledge of products will have practical adaptation to real business processes with the possibility of using various mechanics, metrics and other means of monitoring the level of knowledge and assessing the effectiveness of programs.

VimpelCom bought a stake in Knomary

On December 20, 2022, it became known about VimpelCom's investments in Knomary. The company did not disclose the financial and other terms of the transaction. It is only known that the Russian telecommunications operator acquired a minority stake in a Belarusian startup.

Knomary products, according to its own data startup by December 2022, are used by more than 50 largest Russian companies. Knomary's product circuit will include educational programs developed by Beeline Corporate University. New products will be developed and tested in real conditions with the participation of beeline employees, and Beeline Business will offer solutions for distance learning to its corporate clients.
