In June, 2012 Acronis announced start in Russia and the CIS of the new affiliate program. An opportunity to work with vendor directly, and not just through Aflex Distribution as it was earlier will become its key features. Besides, partners will be able to register transactions on the new portal.
Let's remind that earlier the interests of Acronis at the Russian market were presented only by Aflex which performs similar functions and for other vendors, for example, Parallels and Comindware (Kollovear). Despite innovations, the status of the official representative for Aflex remains and will not change.
The area manager of Acronis in Russia and the CIS countries Kirill Buzukov said in connection with start of the new program that the company "is very happy" with results of sales in 2011 and to develop prodolzhayetaktivno in the Russian market.
One more innovation, told TAdviser in Acronis, consists that now in the affiliate program 4 levels, and before them were only 3. New levels are called as follows: authorized, silver, gold, platinum.
According to new conditions, the partner status shows not only progress of the company in the field of sales, but also the expert level of her employees and volume of time and the efforts spent for training of technical specialists. For achievement of new level of the program partners need to reach a certain level of revenue and also to undergo the procedure of certification then the partner will get access to monasteries and new opportunities.
Besides, partners of Acronis in Russia and the CIS will receive the new tool - the partner portal. "Key use of this tool — a possibility of registration of transactions which if the partner took to us the new client and registered this transaction on the portal gives a guarantee to the partner that it also will close this transaction, and will receive an additional discount", - explained TAdviser in Acronis.
Cases when attractive clients are enticed due to acquaintance or the prices when considerable work on preparation of the transaction is carried already out are frequent, speak in the company. "Registration of transactions is temporarily open even for partners of the first level now. So we expect to attract more companies in a partner network", - representatives of vendor said.
2014: Acronis will increase network of partners in Russia to several thousand companies
Until the end of 2014 Acronis expects to treble the total number of partners in Russia, her representatives in June told. By the beginning of summer, according to Acronis, its network totals about 800 partners here. At expansion of Acronis network places big emphasis on partners in regions – system integrators and resellers, note in the company.
Besides, according to plans of Acronis, at the end of 2014 it should have in the country five distributors. Earlier only one company -Aflex entering into the Softline group had this status. In 2014 Acronis signed distribution contracts with three companies –Axoft and Merlion and 1C.
The head of representative office of Acronis in Russia and the CIS Sergey Malgin in a conversation with TAdviser noted that, having signed the distribution agreement with 1C, Acronis gets access and to her partners whose number exceeds 7 thousand. He added that Acronis agrees with 1C about how jointly to work with partners.
It should be noted that with 1C, Acronis cooperated already many years to the conclusion of the distribution contract, however were talked of deliveries only of "boxed" versions of the products making not too considerable part in the general business of Acronis. Now 1C will deliver also electronic versions of its products.
Sergey Malgin also told TAdviser that as of the beginning of June of Acronis conducts negotiations on the conclusion of the distribution contract with one company. He preferred not to open its name before conclusion of an agreement.
The founder of Acronis Sergey Belousov in a conversation with TAdviser noted that increasing efforts for business development in Russia and to expansion of a partner network is connected with its appointment to the post of the CEO of the company in 2013. According to Belousov, earlier Russia was for the company one of the small markets on which there was no focus. He added that it was the policy of previous leaders of the company as it till last year was not engaged in affairs of Acronis.
"Now on the Russian market Acronis has a priority. We are the company with the Russian roots, and very quickly we can become "number one" company here. For this purpose we have a mass of advantages in relation to foreign competitors: in Russia we have people, communications, engineers who can talk to large customers and partners, we understand that it is necessary for the local customer", - he says.
Also believe in Acronis that also the course towards import substitution drawn in the country against the background of a political situation in 2014 can contribute to the development of its business in Russia. According to Sergey Malgin it gives to products of Acronis "some chance to enter on the market, being actually Russian development".
