Creating a VR&AR Competence Center in conjunction with Fibrum
LANIT Group of Companies and Fibrum on October 9, 2019 announced the creation of the Center of Competence in the field of virtual and augmented reality for the corporate segment.
The center will be created in the structure of LANIT-Integration. The Fibrum team partially transfers to the LANIT-Integration staff, leaving some of the resources in the company to support existing products and launch new ones. Ilya Flax will lead the center, retaining his position as CEO at Fibrum.
The LANIT & Competence Center VRAR will work in the B2B segment and deal with VR education, the development of Hard & Soft Skills, create simulators for training and training skills with complex and rare equipment and simulators for preparing personnel for actions in emergency situations.
LANIT estimates that business interest in VR&AR is growing. For example, industrial VR/AR solutions in Russia are most interested in enterprises operating in the power, mechanical engineering, oil and gas and chemical industries.
By combining the competencies and resources of LANIT-Integration and Fibrum, we strive to build a line of products for corporate customers who are interested in VR/AR solutions. Together with LANIT-Integration, we have already implemented a number of joint projects, and this cooperation has shown positive results. In the creation of the Center of Competence in the field of VR&AR, I see new opportunities for popularizing virtual and augmented reality technologies in the domestic market and creating a number of large projects in the B2B segment, "commented Ilya Flax. |
Virtual and augmented reality technologies are included in the list of end-to-end technologies and have a significant impact on the development of markets. Bright projects of "LANIT-Integration" prove the demand for VR&AR, for example, a media center in the Zaryadye park with media complexes or "Sacred Kazakhstan," within which digital copies of cultural monuments have been created. The Competence Center created with Fibrum will allow launching projects in more complex markets, says Murat Marshankulov, Managing Director of LANIT-Integration. |
