Co-founder of the CleverData Denis Afanasyev left the position of general director
As TAdviser found out, at the end of November 2020, the general director was replaced in CleverData: instead of Denis Afanasyev, co-founder, who headed the company since its creation in 2014, Victoria Solovyova was appointed to this position.

At the same time, the Russian Big Data market is estimated as growing: in 2019, the Big Data Association estimated its volume at 10-30 billion rubles and predicted an increase to 300 billion rubles in 2024. The AI market was also estimated as growing: in the AI Spending Guide doctoid study, Russian AI spending was promised 30% growth annually. And according to a study by the CleverData itself, conducted jointly with the Fintech Association, in 2019 the total flow of data exchange between suppliers and consumers increased by 135%.
Lanita told TAdviser that since 2018, CleverData has been implementing a development strategy as a vendor of solutions for processing user data. The tasks of developing their own products, maximizing their share in total revenue and expanding their market share were set.

CleverDATA was created by Lanit together with the company CleverLEAF. The parties do not disclose the distribution of shares in the new company. CleverLEAF appeared on the market in 2012. Its headquarters are based in the UK, and development centers are based in Russia and Belarus.
