The Oracle corporation announced in the spring of 2012 conclusion of an agreement about purchase of Collective Intellect company, the supplier of cloud social intelligent solutions (social intelligence) for data analysis on social networks in real time. Terms of transaction are not disclosed.
The products Collective Intellect allow the companies to monitor the user messages in such social media as Facebook and Twitter and to reveal responses, opinions, expressions of the clients for overall assessment of their loyalty and satisfaction with the level of service and products. On the basis of data retrieveds of the company can improve the marketing campaigns, organize address customer interaction, quickly react to their requests and wishes in real time and as result, to optimize the product and service offers and also customer service, says Oracle.
The Collective Intellect engine based on technology of semantic analysis of texts is capable to process tens of millions of user messages daily. The Collective Intellect technology allows to take information useful to the companies revealing moods and preferences of clients from huge data arrays and automatically determines the forming trends and hot topics on the basis of which the companies can quickly make necessary decisions.
As envisioned by Oracle, consolidation of opportunities of solutions of corporation on sales management, marketing, services, data and on a business intelligence with developments of Collective Intellect company and cloud products for social marketing from Vitrue company which acquisition was recently announced by Oracle will allow to offer clients the most full-function platform of "social interaction" (social relationship platform).
