2018: Oracle buys Zenedge

In the middle of February, 2018 the American producer of the corporate software Oracle announced Zenedge purchase. The cost and other terms of transaction of the company decided not to open.

Oracle said what thanks to Zenedge technologies to the companies will begin to implement more simply and cheaper cloud services without the need for control and security and also without damage of performance of corporate infrastructure.

Developed by Zenedge firewalls for web applications and solutions for prevention of DDoS attacks will help clients of Oracle to protect applications, networks, databases and API functions from harmful web traffic.

Merger of Zenedge allocates Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with the integrated network infrastructure of the next generation and infrastructure of security which are necessary for fight against modern cyberthreats — the senior vice president of Oracle for product development Don Johnson said.
