Northern electric networks

History

In 1954 at Padunsky Thresholds on the Angara River works on a construction of Bratsk Hydroelectric Power Station began. Quickly the electric networks of building of the city of Bratsk and adjacent areas grew, there were new industrial facilities, need of creation of the specialized network enterprise appeared.

3/20/65 the order of the State committee on power and electrification of the USSR "Was signed select the electric networks" regions of thermal and electric networks N 1 and N 2 of management of the chief power engineer of Bratskgesstroy in the separate enterprise with the location in the city of Bratsk and from now on to refer to as it "The brotherly electric networks" and to subordinate to the Irkutsk district power management, as was implemented by the order of the managing director of REU "Irkutskenergo" N 89 of 7/13/65. So 7/1/65 the enterprise - the Brotherly electric networks of REU "Irkutskenergo" was born.

The brotherly electric networks at the time of education had: aerial and cable lines of 110 kV and below - 930 km, substations of 35-110 kV - 13 pieces, TP - 250 pieces and 238 people of personnel were also engaged only in power supply of the local area. Networks 220, 500 kV including in the territory of the Brotherly electric networks were operated then by the enterprise of the High-voltage electric networks.

At the young enterprise safely went for operation of substations without permanent operation personnel, having entrusted control of a condition of equipment to devices and means of telemechanics, implemented complex repair of the equipment.

From the date of the education the enterprise violently developed - at first due to acceptance of rural power supply networks, then due to acceptance of objects from our neighbors - PVVS, UGE, BrAZ and also due to own construction.

In 1975 from PVVS 644 km of LEP-500 of kV and 220 km of LEP-220 of kV and the personnel of network section servicing them were transferred to the Brotherly electric networks. In the same time construction of Brotherly switching point and LEP-500 of kV for issue of power of the Ust-Ilimsk hydroelectric power station, construction of facilities of external power supply of the Baikal-Amur Mainline began.

Also the geography of the enterprise extended - LEP-220 of kV of Brotherly hydroelectric power station - Korshunikh, by PS of 220 kV Mowing, LEP-110 of kV Korshunikha-Lena with PS of 110 kV in Ust Kut are put into operation, in 1975 are accepted from Bratskgesstroy of 2 LEP-220 kV Brotherly hydroelectric power station - Ust-Ilimsk.

In 1976 from the structure of the enterprise the Brotherly city electric networks are selected and transferred to Oblkommunenergo.

The construction of Brotherly switching point of 500 kV is in the eighties completed. And it, with installation of kV two AT-500 is turned into large PS of 500 kV, the construction of the scheme of external supply of BAM is completed that allowed to execute its electrification in the territory of the Irkutsk, Chita regions and Buryat the ASSR, VL-110 of kV to Kirensk is constructed, are entered into work of LEP-220 of kV on construction of Boguchansky hydroelectric power station and Sedanovsky switching point.

Through the electric networks of the enterprise there passes power supply of Brotherly, Ust-Ilimsk, Kazachinsko-Lensky, Kirensky, Lower Ilim, Ust-Kutsky and Chunsky districts of the Irkutsk region.

The area of the territory on which networks of the enterprise, about 150 square kilometers are located.

Since 1994 the enterprise is renamed into the Northern electric networks and has 7453 km of transmission lines of 0.4-500 kV, 95 substations of 35-500 kV, 46073 conventional units and 733 people of personnel where the majority is made by the experienced highly qualified specialists providing issue of capacities of two largest Brotherly and Ust-Ilimsk hydroelectric power stations and reliable power supply of consumers.

Since June 1, 2006 according to the solution of Board of Directors Irkutsk Electric Grid Company LLC a part of which it is created the Northern Electric Networks branch was.
