Structure of the company
In Leta Group four divisions work: Leta Information Security, Leta Industrial Innovation, Leta Software Development and Leta Investment & Venture.
Businesses of the Leta Information Security division cover the sphere information security – from protection of the home computer to the state and corporate IT systems. The companies were a part of a division: Leta IT-company (solution provider in information security field, the first operator of the typified IT services), Group-IB (service provider on investigation of computer crimes and incidents in Russia and abroad) and ESS Distribution (the official representative of Eset company, the international developer of antivirus software and solutions in the field of a computer security in the territory of the CIS countries and India).
The Leta Industrial Innovation division is focused on industrial innovations and application of IT in the industry. In its structure of the company: ASK Labs (industrial integration and development of solutions for industrial automation) and "ASKOM-stroy" (creation of data centers, creation of the technical systems of defense of perimeter of objects and engineering infrastructure of buildings and constructions).
The Leta Software Development division specializing in creation and promotion corporate and "house" software integrated DAMASCUS companies (the largest domestic manufacturer of an e-queue system) and HamsterSoft (the developer of the canned software for "house" use distributing it in international market for free).
Leta Investment & Venture directly is engaged in investment into the advanced IT companies, projects and products.
History
2017: Investment into Qmarkets
In July the LETA Capital company acted a lead investor of a round of financing of the international supplier of intelligent solutions for Qmarkets corporations which volume was $5.2 million. The transaction passed with the participation of the Israeli business consolidation Club 100 Plus, State department of economic and social development of Connecticut. Qmarkets intends to use the received means for further expansion of a product line and expansion in the market of the USA.
"Recently we released a number of new products. One of examples — the Q-Scout platform allowing the large companies to reveal, develop and estimate external technological capabilities, such as merges, absorption and partner opportunities. Or Q-open is the platform for involvement in the innovation processes of outer concerned parties, such as suppliers and customers. The last release of Qmarkets — the platform for municipalities - Q-City for improvement of public services" — Noam told Danone, the CEO of Qmarkets.

2013: An exit from the capital of Group-IB company
In October, 2013 LETA Group announced leaving the company of Group-IB as a result of MBO. The funds obtained from the transaction will be allocated in venture subsidiary – LETA Capital fund. In three years from the moment of purchase of a share in the company the staff of Group-IB grew by 5 times.
2010
Turnover of group of 3.39 billion rub
In 2010 the total turnover of the companies entering into Leta Group was 3,390 million rubles that for 16% exceeds the corresponding indicator of 2009.
According to leta Group, today users of the products Eset in Russia are 14.3 million people, at the same time monthly the Russian website Eset is visited by about 2.5 million visitors. In 2010 the company sold 1 million box versions of antivirus software, and corporate clients of Eset are more than 30 thousand enterprises, reported in ESS Distribution.
Purchase of 50% of stocks of Group-IB
In 2010 Leta Group acquired 50% of shares of Group-IB — the company which is in a complex engaged in investigation of computer crimes, violations of information security and computer criminalistics. It allowed group to become at once the dominating participant of promptly growing market investigation of computer crimes and incidents and also to prepare quickly for an output to the market of a number of the innovative solutions, emphasized in leta Group. The first of them, Group-IB Anti-fraud, integrates audit of the systems of Internet banking, protection against the malware, fraud identification, warning of remote bank frauds and collecting of necessary proofs. In turn, the solution Group-IB CyberCop System provides prevention and protection against DDoS attacks using technologies of "traps" (honeypots) and resources of the international project of HoneyNet network, the round-the-clock monitoring, a pro-active response to the revealed incidents and almost instant reaction to threats. At last, the solution Group-IB Internet brand Guard represents new type of the "cloud" service allowing to protect reputation of the enterprise. The solution includes the round-the-clock online monitoring, identification of abuses of a brand on the Internet, use of conformable domain names (cybersquatting), an anti-phishing, prevention of false associations, etc.
Start of service in ensuring compliance of banks to three cybersecurity standards
In the middle of 2010 the Leta company brought to the Russian market service "All cybersecurity standards. Banks" which provides compliance of the cybersecurity systems to three regulating documents at once: To the Federal Law "About Personal Data" recommended by Bank of Russia to the standard of service station of BR IBBS and also the standard of international payment systems of PCI DSS. Besides, in an asset of leta services for the investigation of computer crimes (ICC) and response to cybersecurity incidents appeared.
Start of the first venture project is HamsterSoft
In the middle of 2010 the first project of leta Group venture fund – HamsterSoft started. This company specializes in development of the functional mass software for "house" use and its large-scale output to international markets. HamsterSoft already released 3 products:
- Hamster Free Video Converter video converter;
- program of record of laser disks of all Hamster Free Burning Studio types;
- Hamster Free Archiver archiver.
All programs are distributed for free, and already now is translated to software of HamsterSoft into 40 languages. According to leta Group, around the world three million people use it, and the project reached operating margin.
Anton Sokolov sold 33% of shares of the company and became the official
In May, 2010,[1], the board member and the co-owner of Leta Group Anton Sokolov left the company and sold the stocks owned by it. Also he resigned as the commercial director of Leta IT-company system integrator (enters into Leta Group). Since February 26, 2010 Sokolov became the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Astrakhan region. This information of CNews was confirmed by Anton Sokolov and the president of the Leta group Alexander Chachava.
Sokolov owned 33% of the stocks Leta Group. "These shares were sold to me and to the chairman of the board of directors of group Sergey Piltsov then our shares make 50% - Alexander Chachava told CNews. – We say goodbye without the conflict, we remain in good relations, and Anton is ready to receive from us necessary payments in a form, convenient for Leta". Transaction amount of the party is not disclosed.
2009: Revenue in the cybersecurity direction of 1.95 billion rub
In 2009 total sales of LETA Group in the cybersecurity direction were 1,956,400 thousand rubles (including the VAT) that for 8.1% exceeded a similar indicator of 2008. During the considered period the Group saved and strengthened a market leadership of information security thanks to timely concentration of efforts on the directions which provided stability of the Russian market of cybersecurity in general. Among them became the major: creation of the systems of personal data protection according to requirements of the law "About Personal Data" (No. 152-FZ) and protection against the malware. Besides, at the end of 2009 the Russian enterprises began to start projects on implementation of the systems of protection against leaks of confidential information (DLP) again. The companies entering into LETA Group – LETA IT-company (a chief operator typified cybersecurity and IT services) and ESS Distribution (presents ESET company at the Russian market) – are among leaders of the corresponding segments of the national market of cybersecurity.
According to preliminary estimates, Leta Group revenue for 2010 will make 3,370.4 thousand rubles.
2008: Purchase of 75% in ASK company for 443 million rub
In 2008 Leta IT purchased 75% of ASK company for 442 million rubles.
