According to summer of 2012 - IBM is going to purchase Kenexa company - software developer for recruiting and human resources management. An expected date of completion of the transaction – the 4th quarter 2012. Transaction amount will be $1.3 billion, i.e. $46 for an action. It is 42.5% more, than Kenexa share price at exchange biddings at the end of August, 2012.

In 2008 the company took the 10th place in Forbes rating of the most fast-growing technology companies, in 2010 entered the five of the largest decision makers for recruitment process outsourcing. In 2008 and 2010 of the solution of Kenexa were recognized as "a product of year" the Human Resouces magazine.

Clients of Kenexa are more than 8.9 thousand clients in different areas, a half of them are included into the list of the largest American companies Fortune 500. The company works in 21 countries, the number of its salaried employees makes about 2.8 thousand human.

The market of software for human resources management grows every year and, according to the experts, is one of the most high-marginal. Interest in it was already shown by such giants of the IT industry as SAP which in December, 2011 purchased for $3.4 billion the developer of the SuccessFactors HR systems, and Oracle which purchased for $1.9 billion Taleo. Whether it will manage to IBM to take using Kenexa on it the worthy place, will show time.

The IBM corporation announced in the fall of 2012 completion of acquisition of Kenexa company, solution provider for personnel recruitment and management of employee development. Komapniya services over 8.9 thousand clients from a number of the industries, including financial services, pharmaceutical industry and retail.

Acquisition supplements the strategy of IBM aimed at providing heads of business with up-to-date information and qualified personnel in each functional division of the enterprise from group of development and personnel department to marketing service and sales department.

Distribution of technologies of social business in addition accelerates growth of Big Data and increases need of implementation of analytical solutions at the enterprises. As showed results of a recent global research of IBM, 57% of the polled CEOs of the companies specified implementation of technologies of social interaction as a priority, and more than 73% of respondents announced considerable investments into solutions for analytics of data. Besides, according to survey results, 70% of heads consider a human capital one of the most important factors of sustainable economic development.

Upon completion of the transaction of acquisition about 2.8 thousand employees of Kenexa from 21 countries are a part of IBM. IBM will continue to support clients of Kenexa and to improve Kenexa technologies, giving the chance to these organizations to take advantages of an extensive product portfolio and services of IBM.
