Apple purchased the developer of technologies for conferences in virtual reality of Spaces

The companies did not begin to comment on the transaction. So far it is unknown whether the Spaces command will join any project of Apple connected with VR. However it is known that Apple works on the combined AR/VR headset which release is planned for 2021. Bloomberg reports that the headset will have displays with high resolution and "the cinema system of loudspeakers". Thanks to these new products the user should not notice a difference between this world and virtual reality which is created by the headset. And as Apple continues to invest in development of ARKit and its new features, it is possible to expect that the purchased technologies will be united in the new product offering enhanced capabilities to augmented and virtual reality.

According to PitchBook, by the end of August, 2020 Spaces attracted from investors in total $9.5 million. The pandemic of a coronavirus of COVID-19 forced the company to take the credit for salaries on Paycheck Protection Program and to dismiss a part of employees.[1]
