In June, 2011 the Oracle corporation announced conclusion of an agreement about acquisition of FatWire Software company (FatWire), lidirushchy solution provider for management of presence in Web (Web Experience Management, WEM).

It is expected that FatWire acquisition even more will expand offers on technologies and Oracle applications for the organizations which look for ways of creation of a unified environment of interaction with the customers in all canals. This consolidation allows Oracle to provide the complete solution for media control of customer interaction which will help the organizations to solve successfully problems of customer retention and support of their loyalty by means of improvement of an on-line scope on all channels – through Web, mobile devices and social networks.

The solutions FatWire supplement the leading technology products and business applications of Oracle, including a complex of a middleware Oracle Fusion Middleware, means of the business analysis of Business Intelligence, management tools with corporate content (Enterprise Content Management) and portal technologies (Portal) and also a customer relationship management system of Oracle Customer Relationship Management and solution for e-commerce of ATG Web Commerce.
The deal is going to be closed in the middle of 2011. Up to this point each company will continue to perform the transactions independently and independently. Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.
