Oxygen Systems

Oxygen Systems is the Brazilian system integrator which is engaged in implementation and localization of ERP systems of Oracle Netsuite. The company is founded in 2017 by separation from the Chilean IT service provider of Sonda and uses the O2 Systems brand in the market.

History

2019: Oracle purchased Oxygen Systems

At the end of June, 2019 Oracle announced Oxygen Systems acquisition. At the same time the financial component of the agreement of the company did not begin to be opened. The transaction was closed at the time of its announcement.

Oxygen Systems has the partner status NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network and helps the Brazilian business to adapt the software of Oracle for work taking into account requirements to taxation and reportings.^[1]

Oracle purchased integrator of the ERP solutions

It is supposed that purchase of Oxygen Systems will allow Oracle to improve support of the ERP products for the international clients. The transaction underlines efforts of Oracle on increase in a share in a segment of small and medium business in the Brazilian market. 20% of business of the American corporation in the country are the share of these clients, and the last two years of Oracle it was concentrated on attraction of bigger number of customers among SMB, said in the publication ZDNet of July 1, 2019.

The edition notes that the small companies prefer cloud solutions of Oracle which number since 2017 grew thanks to Netsuite portfolio. At the same time in the Brazilian market of cloud ERP systems the local company Totvs dominates.

According to the president of Oracle Brazil Rodrigo Galvão, increase in popularity of products of the company among small and medium business is the main strategic priorities for it.

Judging by information on the Oxygen Systems page on social network LinkedIn, by the beginning of July, 2019 number of staff in the company is from 11 to 50 people. The headquarters of Oxygen Systems is located in the Brazilian city of Zhoinvili.
