2013

Quorus AKS completed 2013 with turnover of 582.2 million rubles. The company implemented projects for 167 customers from whom more than 30% are the enterprises of the industrial sector. In Quorus AKS, as of February 1, 2014, 79 people work.

History

1989: Creation of Quorus AKS company

The Quorus AKS company began the existence in 1989 with foundation of Technical Bureau small enterprise - since 1990 Korus. The group of specialists delivered personal computers and the computer equipment to the commercial organizations – it were the first independent steps of ITB in the computer market. Further creation of the service center, the first in the Urals followed (today Korus-service Ltd provides technical support of a broad spectrum of the equipment and office equipment). The company began to reach the level of the international relations, mastering direct deliveries.

1990: Organization of the joint venture with the French

1990 — organization of the joint Russian-French venture "Korus". Creation of 1st in the Urals service center (today Korus-service Ltd provides technical support of a broad spectrum of the equipment and office equipment). The company began to reach the level of the international relations, mastering direct deliveries.

1991: The first Internet service provider in Yekaterinburg for business, the joint venture with Americans

In 1991 the first in Yekaterinburg Korus began connection of commercial users to the Internet. During the same period Korus founded the joint Russian-American venture "Ekaterinburg Computer Center" which became the Ekaterinburg representative office of the international ComputerLand system which integrated distributors of the high-quality computer equipment. Specialists of the company mastered the UNIX operating system, network applications, protocols of network exchange, preparing base for project implementation of own network point.

1993: The first Russian system of plastic cards is developed

In 1993 the first domestic system of plastic cards which worked via point-of-sale terminals of supermarkets and gasoline stations is developed.

1996

In 1996 one of the most difficult and interesting, for those times, projects is implemented: creation of the structured cabling system (SCS) in the building of Head department of the Bank of Russia across Sverdlovsk region.

1998

In 1998 laying of one of the first high-speed fiber optic networks across Yekaterinburg is performed.

2001: Creation of Korus holding

In 2001 based on structural divisions Korus is created Korus IT holding which part were:

• Quorus AKS system integrator,
• Korus ISP Internet service provider,
• developer of the specialized information systems "Korus KS",
• service center "Korus Service" and
• supplier of the Korus Centre computer equipment.

2006-2007: Entry into the structure of Lanit Group

In 2006-2007 as a result of business enlargement the Korus ISP provider was a part of federal provider STsS Sovintel LLC (a trademark of Golden Telecom), the Korus KS software developer continued the activity as independent legal entity "Ey-Si-Es". The system integrator Quorus AKS Ltd was included into LANIT Group.

2011: Andrey Kurov is appointed the CEO

In 2011 Kurov Andrey Removich becomes the CEO of the company.

According to AKSIT rating, Quorus AKS Ltd is among leaders in the "Rendering of Services on Implementation and Development of Information Infrastructures" and "Rendering of Services on Design and Construction of Engineering Networks and Subsystems" nominations.

Such organizations as GU of the Bank of Russia for Sverdlovsk region, JSC IDGC of Ural, JSC NTMK, JSC SKB-Bank, JSC Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Sinarsky Pipe Plant Open joint stock company, Ural Carriage-Building Plant and other large companies of Sverdlovsk region and the Ural region become clients of Korus.

2012

Consolidation with Lanit Urals

Since January, 2012 QUORUS AKS company (Yekaterinburg) and LANIT Urals (Chelyabinsk) integrate the resources for the purpose of expansion of business in the Uralo-Siberian region by creation of new business structure as a part of LANIT group.

For the purpose of expansion of business in the Uralo-Siberian region, improvements of quality and reduction of an implementation time of projects, increases in portfolio of competences and optimization of management, the management of LANIT group made the decision to enlarge the regional structures and to integrate resources of the companies.

Until the end of 2011 all integration processes which result will be consolidation of knowledge assets of QUORUS AKS and LANIT Urals companies will be complete. Thus, the total number of specialists of the joint structure will be more than 100 people. In the course of consolidation of the company will save the legal and operational independence.

For coordination of combined actions and effective management the uniform governing body — Board of Directors which part the chairman of the board of directors Boris Stepanov, the director of business development Kondakov Alexander, the chief executive Kurov Andrey and the technical director Shaldikov Alexander were is created.

Besides the essential staff increase of specialists of the joint structure is planned for 2012 that will provide to the region new jobs for the highly skilled IT personnel. Already developed staff of the regional companies will also feel positive effect from consolidation due to stability augmentation of business and new opportunities in career and professional development.

Sales growth for 50%

In the 2012th year a gain of the company on sales amount for 50%. The License of FSB of the Russian Federation for an implementation of works using the data which are the state secret is obtained. The quality management system conforming to the international requirements of ISO 9001-2008 GOST P ISO 9001-2008 is implemented. Partnership is concluded with Ideco, CheckPoint. the 1st place in the rating of the Ural IT companies, the 2nd place - on number of clients.

In 2012 Quorus AKS on sales amount showed growth to 50% in comparison with previous with a growth of IT market in 12.5%. The gain of Quorus AKS in 2012 is provided thanks to optimization of internal business processes and implementation of large projects:

• delivery of the computer equipment for medical institutions of health care Municipal Education Yekaterinburg"city" (The Ministry of Health of Sverdlovsk region);
• design and construction of a corporate data network in JSC NPK Ural Carriage-Building Plant;
• creation of local computer networks for joint venture of Group Sinar and Siemens AG concern "Ural locomotives";
• the project based on hardware-software solutions of Cisco in JSC Ural Electrochemical Plant (entering into shopping Mall TVEL of ROSATOM State Corporation).

Thanks to work in open tenderings and tenders, the portfolio of customers due to large state structures is expanded:

In 2012, except Sverdlovsk region, Quorus AKS Ltd implemented projects in Bashkiria, the Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets autonomous areas, Tatarstan, Transbaikalia and Chelyabinsk region.

2013

The company actively continues to strengthen the positions in the market, receiving large-scale and long-term projects in state, power, financial, industrial and other sectors of economy.

Thanks to the put trust at the end of 2013 the company was included into top three in the region on system integration in the rating of Business Quarter and is the leader in cost of one implemented project on the employee of department of sales.

Quorus AKS was concluded by partnership with Infotecs - the leader of the domestic market of program VPN solutions.
