FSO may prevent the allocation of 5G communication bands for VimpelCom and Rostelecom

To conduct tests, the company used Nokia AirFrame equipment (Mobile Edge Computing solution) and AirScale, which operates in the 4.5 GHz band. The companies applied MIMO 8x8 technology using eight antennas at the base and subscriber stations and provided multi-stream video transmission.
