2022: Lukoil paid Gazprom 11 billion rubles for a stake in the joint venture Lyavozhneftegaz
On June 30, 2022, it became known that Lukoil paid Gazprom 11 billion rubles for a stake in Layavozhneftegaz, a joint venture to develop the Vaneivis and Layavozhsky fields in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to Interfax, LLC Lukoil-Komi bought 49% from Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar LLC in the joint venture of LLC Lyavozhneftegaz, bringing its share to 50%.
The total recoverable reserves of liquid hydrocarbons of the Vaneivis and Layavozhsky fields amount to 27.4 million tons, natural gas - 225.3 billion cubic meters. m. 2021: Company Registration
In March 2022, Gazprom and Lukoil registered the joint venture Layavozhneftegaz (LVNG) as part of the joint development project of the Vanevis oil and gas condensate field (NGKM) and the Layavozhsky oil and gas condensate field. 2016
Gazprom won the auction for the Layavozhskoye and Vaneivisskoye fields back in 2016, offering 23 billion rubles for them at a starting price of 8 billion rubles - that is, almost 3 times more. Rosneft also claimed them in the hope of increasing the resource base of the Pechora LNG project. But the price during the auction went beyond the profitability of the project, and the victory in the auction went to Gazprom.
