2024: Lukoil bought Medis

Oil The company Lukoil"" through its structure LLC "K.N. Kholding" acquired the largest operator of industrial medicine - the network of polyclinics "Medis." This became known on November 12, 2024. The deal was approved. Federal Antimonopoly Service Russia

The acquisition was carried out in partnership with the closed unit investment fund Gazprombank Freesia, which received 50.91% of the shares, while the share of K.N. Kholding amounted to 49.08%.

Lukoil
bought a network of Medis polyclinics

Andrey Tarasov, General Director of Medis, stressed that the network will continue to provide medical services to both Lukoil and other customers, developing the market direction of business.

By November 2024, Medis includes 13 polyclinics, 159 health centers and 3 sanatoriums, where 1.5 thousand medical specialists work. The company's revenue in 2023 reached ₽1,945 billion with a net profit of ₽39,5 million. The acquisition of a medical asset expands LUKOIL's presence in the field health care and strengthens the company's ability to provide medical care to its own personnel.

Before the deal, the network belonged to the Soyuz company of CSKA President Yevgeny Giner. Previously, Medis was part of the Rosgosstrakh group and was estimated at ₽1,81 billion as of 2018.

In March 2024, the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow sentenced the former general director of Capital Reinsurance Dauru Jania for the illegal withdrawal of Medis assets from Rosgosstrakh.

ZPIF Gazprombank Freesia and K.N. Kholding previously participated in joint transactions, including the acquisition of control in a subsidiary of the Italian energy holding Engel and the redemption of the business of the former Russian subsidiary of the insurance company AIG.

The deal will strengthen the material base of the medical network and improve the quality of patient care. Medis is a major outsourcer of medical services for Russian enterprises.
