2024: Establishing a Company

The largest aluminum producer in Russia Rusal has created a new legal entity - Boguchany Aero LLC - with the aim of developing and implementing a project for the development of airport infrastructure in the northern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The founder of Boguchany Aero, registered on May 30, 2024, was the subsidiary of Rusal - Rusal Aero LLC, specializing in airport management and aviation activities in Siberia and the Far East.

Representatives of Rusal have not yet disclosed the details of the planned project, but note that the authorized capital of the new enterprise is 10 thousand rubles, and its parent company is En +.

According to Rusal, Rusal Aero already has experience in managing airports in Bratsk and Novokuznetsk, and also owns a number of other assets in the aviation sector. The Boguchany Aero institution demonstrates the company's intention to strengthen its position in the airport infrastructure segment and become a participant in projects for the development of air traffic in the northern part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The company noted that in 2024 several airports operate in this region, including in the settlements of Khatanga, Igarka, Tura, Vanavara and Norilsk "Alykel." In 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin focused on the need to modernize small airports in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Rusal expects that the project, on which the new legal entity will work, will contribute to improving the availability and quality of air transportation in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which will have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of this territory and improve the transport connectivity of the region.^[1]
