2021: Microsoft bought Suplari

At the end of July 2021, Microsoft bought the developer of the Suplari cloud platform for managing expenses. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed. Microsoft plans to merge Suplari Spend Intelligence Cloud (the main Suplari product) with Dynamics 365.

Together with Dynamics 365, Suplari Spend Intelligence Cloud will help customers maximize financial transparency by using AI to automate the analysis of current data and historical patterns from multiple data sources. The merger will also help customers improve financial decision-making by forecasting the most effective cost management actions in the future, Weigel explained.
