Sentor was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Stockholm, with additional offices in Gävle and Malmo. The company's portfolio includes consulting services, security testing solutions, cyber incident detection and response products provided by the 24/7/365 security operations center in Stockholm. The company's customer base covers several industries, including finance, insurance, manufacturing and retail.

History

2021: Accenture bought Sentor

At the end of June 2021, Accenture announced the purchase of the Swedish IB protection provider Sentor. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

As part of the merger with Accenture, about 80 Sentor cybersecurity specialists will join the Accenture Security team in Sweden, expanding Accenture's local resources and capabilities and meeting the growing demand for local cybersecurity and managed security services.
