RoboCV is developing a line of autopilots with which it is possible to provide completely autonomous movement of various types of transport, including warehouse equipment, quarry trucks and cars in areas free from general car traffic.
The main product of the company is the line of X-MOTION autopilot systems, created on the basis of vision, INS sensors and GLONASS/. GPS The algorithms developed by the company for building an environmental map and navigating this map, recognizing obstacles and building a traffic path allow the system to completely replace the driver in B2B applications.

Funds from investments will be used to develop existing autopilots for warehouse equipment, as well as to develop a pre-production sample for cars.
2015: Transport robot developer RoboCV raises $3M
In February 2015, RoboCV announced the closure of a new round of venture capital investments totaling $3 million. The lead investor was a fund managed by I2BF Global Ventures and VTB Capital Investment Management. In addition, international players in the venture capital market took part in the deal - Columbus Nova, Almaz Capital, as well as LETA Capital, which previously invested in the company.
The investments will be aimed at further development and improvement of technologies for autopilot of warehouse loading equipment based on computer vision and the launch of pre-production production of autopilot RoboCV X-Motion.
"Today, the robotics market has developed a unique situation comparable to the computer revolution of the 70-80s of the last century, when people moved from huge mainframes to desktop computers. Robots are becoming more affordable and in demand in almost all areas of our life, "explains Alexander Korchevsky, partner and head of I2BF in Russia. - An investment in RoboCV is an opportunity for us to actively participate in this dynamically developing industry. We see great potential in the development of the project not only in Russia, but also around the world, so we will contribute to the development of the company both in existing markets and its entry into the international arena. "
Dmitry Smirnov, co-founder and commercial director of RoboCV: "The main barrier now for the mass penetration of automated loading machines into warehouses and production is the great complexity of their implementation and, as a result, limited scaling capabilities and high cost. Our technologies solve this problem, I think that within 2-3 years we will see an explosive increase in the penetration of robotization in the field of warehouse logistics around the world. Despite the difficult economic situation, I2BF and other international partners believe in RoboCV. This means that our chosen strategy is correct - the creation of advanced technologies with a focus on the international market: only the global competitiveness of high-tech products can ensure a steady growth in the company's capitalization and independence from market factors.
