TAdviser500 Rating: Largest IT Companies in Russia 2025

Analytical center TAdviser has prepared the first rating of the 500 largest companies operating in the Russian IT market. In addition, analysts of the publication presented their own assessment of the volume of this market and the dynamics of income of certain categories of companies.

Analytical center TAdviser has prepared the first rating of the 500 largest IT companies in Russia in 2024. The rating includes Russian system integrators, IT distributors, software and hardware developers, IT insourcers of large domestic companies, as well as representatives of foreign IT companies operating in Russia.

The total revenue of the rating participants in 2024 exceeded 4.8 trillion rubles. The entry threshold, i.e. the revenue of the company that took the last place in the top 500, amounted to 493 million rubles.

The first hundred largest companies are closed by a participant with revenue of 7.4 billion rubles. A year earlier, this figure was 6.6 billion rubles. The total revenues of the first hundred companies in the rating compared to last year increased - by 26.9%.

The leader of the new rating was again the Rostec Electronic Comlex, which includes companies such as Rosel, Automatics, Schwabe, KRET, etc. Its revenue increased by 7.1% and reached 455.1 billion rubles. The second line was once again taken by the IT holding T1 (274.9 billion rubles, + 23.3%), the third place was taken by MTS Web Services (271.2 billion rubles, + 29.4%), which unites all the IT-Business of the MTS group. The developer and manufacturer of software and hardware "ICS Holding" rose to the fourth position (264.7 billion rubles, + 60.2%). The fifth line of the rating is the IT distributor OCS (186.2 billion rubles, + 12.3%).

The share of the five largest companies in relation to the total revenue of the first hundred over the past few years has been approximately the same. In 2021, it amounted to 39%, in 2022 - 37.7%, in 2023 - 36.9%, in 2024 - 38.7%. In the new rating, the top 5 companies accounted for 37.4% of the total revenue of the hundred largest participants.

The list of the fastest growing (among the first hundred participants in the TAdviser500 rating) was headed by the Russian proptech company Plus (formerly Samolet Plus), which develops digital services and sales infrastructure in the real estate market (+ 640.1%). Also among the companies with the largest revenue growth were the system integrator Hi-Tech Integration (+ 356.3%), the manufacturer of server equipment OpenYard (+ 350.8%), Atomdat Group of Companies - the competence center of Rosatom State Corporation for the development of the data center network (+ 174.2%), as well as the manufacturer of fiscal drives Invent (+ 126.1%).

Representative offices of a number of large foreign IT companies continue to work in Russia. Some of them are increasing revenues. For example, the total revenue of Russian representative offices of Amdocs increased by 9.5% to 7 billion rubles. The representative of Keenetic products in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Netcraise increased by 59.1% to 4.6 billion rubles. There was also an increase in the Russian representative of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (2.2 billion rubles, + 42.7%).

Other large representative offices of foreign IT companies in Russia have reduced revenue. This applies, in particular, to TP-Link, Hikvision, Orange Business Services, D-Link, Samsung (talking about the Samsung Research Center) and Kyocera Document Solutions.

The world's largest IT companies finally left the Russian market in 2023. However, from time to time information appears about their possible return in the event of the lifting of Western sanctions. How this can affect Russian developers who have already occupied the vacant niches, said representatives of IT companies.

Companies that have chosen such a path for themselves do not look towards Russian IT products even in the absence of Western vendors on the market. In these cases, Russian vendors find themselves on the field of global competition for the client, albeit in a truncated format. Here, as IT manufacturers, we still have to prove to the business that the transition to Russian servers has obvious advantages - cooperation with the Russian vendor is reliable, full-fledged service and more flexibility.}}

There are separate companies that have managed to achieve high results and reach a level comparable, and in some cases superior to their foreign counterparts. This applies, for example, to DBMS, operating systems, information security tools. However, it is too early to talk about full alignment of positions. In a number of directions, a noticeable lag remains. It will take significantly more time and investment to overcome it.}}

Of course, there remain areas where the lag is still noticeable - for example, highly specialized solutions and IT equipment, where years of work are required for replacement. But in the mass corporate segment, Russian solutions are already competitive - and are increasingly replacing Western ones.}}

According to TAdviser, the Russian IT market at the end of 2024 showed positive dynamics at 25%. The market volume reached 3.5 trillion rubles. Growth was slightly higher than last year's expectations.

Russian IT companies continued to grow. At the same time, the largest dynamics of revenue (among TAdviser500 participants) is noted among cloud service providers. The average growth in this direction is more than 40%. Developers of software and hardware products, system integrators and insourcing companies of large domestic enterprises on average show growth dynamics at 25%. IT distributors are growing at a slightly slower pace (about 20%). Among information security companies as a whole, there is a dynamics of about 18%.

According to analysts, by the end of 2025, the dynamics of the Russian IT market will not exceed 10%.

2024 showed that IT demand continued to grow rapidly. 2025 in this regard is somewhat more complicated - the high key rate of the Central Bank restrains the possibilities of large business for the implementation of new large projects, therefore, it limits the need for digitalization.
