Launch of AI recording for services

2GIS launches AI recording technology for services. The developer announced this on February 4, 2026.

The function is being tested, as of February 2026, it is available for some users of the 2GIS mobile application for iOS. You can sign up for hairdressers, barbershops, nail studios and massage parlors. In the future, an AI assistant in 2GIS will be able to call companies to clarify the details of services and help users with their choice.

In December 2025, an AI assistant appeared in the cards of organizations and locations in the 2GIS, which answers users' questions about places. The solution turned out to be in demand - millions of people use this function and ask questions about companies. Given the interest of the audience, 2GIS continues to develop the AI direction. Now the geoservice has presented an entry for services with an AI assistant. The function is tested on part of the audience: with it, users can not only find an organization, but also sign up for a service - AI will select a suitable set of services, a convenient date, time and specialist.

{{quote 'We are developing 2GIS as a city assistant who takes over the routine, saves time and helps people solve everyday problems - quickly, conveniently, in one application. Earlier, we added a search for institutions by atmosphere and photo, as well as personal recommendations - "Tips." Now AI not only helps with choice, but also with recording design. We add AI to those scenarios where it can bring maximum benefit, "said Maxim Azarov, AI product manager at 2GIS. }}

Those who already have access to this function can sign up for the service in a 2GIS in just a couple of minutes - just choose a suitable company under the Beauty heading - a salon, hairdresser, nail studio, barbershop or massage room - and press the "Sign up through an AI assistant" button. In the chat, the AI assistant will clarify the details: he will offer a convenient date and time, help you choose a specialist and issue an entry. It remains only to confirm it.

In addition, another recording method is being tested in Novosibirsk - when the user first indicates his preferences to the AI assistant, and he selects a suitable company for him and writes to the service. To do this, select the "Beauty" section and click the "Sign up through AI assistant" button. The assistant will ask a few questions, and then pick up the right company and sign up for services.

The first users of AI recording are already sharing feedback - at the testing stage, it will help prepare the function for launch to a wider audience. In the coming months, registration for services will be available to all users of the application on iOS and Android in Russia, and later the range of recording services will expand, for example, car services will appear. In the future, the AI assistant in the 2GIS will be able not only to record for services, but also to check with companies on the phone. All this without having to go to third-party sites or applications - inside the usual 2GIS interface. This will save time and make searching in the city easier and more convenient.

Lens "Work"

In 2GIS, a lens "Work" appeared - a personal type of map that shows the location of vacancies in the city: in which companies what specialists are looking for right now. It is convenient when you want to find work near your home, study or in your favorite area. Vacancies are displayed right on the map, and filters help you quickly select the right position. The company announced this on January 29, 2026.

The "Work" lens is a type of map, after which points with vacancies appear on the map. You can filter them by position, such as Analyst, Barista, or Sales Manager. If there are several vacancies at the same address, their number will be indicated on the marker. After clicking on the point, you can see the full list of offers.

Job cards open directly in the 2GIS without switching to third-party services. Inside you can see the name of the employer, requirements, salary expectations and other details. In addition, you can build a route to a point to calculate the journey time - on foot, by car, public transport, bicycle or scooter. To send your resume, you can call the company or go to the site where the vacancy is posted.

{{quote 'We made finding a job as easy as finding a cafe or pharmacy - taking into account the location in the city. You turn on the lens - and you see what vacancies are nearby or in the right area. This is especially important for residents of large cities who are not ready to waste time on the road or want to work in a familiar area. 2GIS became the first mapping service that began to display current vacancies in the product, "said product manager Rita Kananyan. }}

As of January 2026, there are two sources of data on current vacancies in the 2GIS - the HeadHunter service and advertiser companies that can add vacancies through their Personal Account - in the My Company block. In the future, the list of job services supplying data to the 2GIS will expand.

The "Work" lens for January 2026 is already available in the current version of the 2GIS - in mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as in the web version on 2gis.ru. To start using, you need to:

  • update the application,
  • open the application and click on the "Lenses" button in the upper right corner of the main screen,
  • select "Operation" lens.

Launch of parking payment in Moscow with YuKassa

YuKassa (a service for receiving online and offline payments from the fintech company YuOney), together with the geoservice, 2GIS implemented the ability to pay for parking in the capital right in the navigator interface. This was announced by 2GIS on January 28, 2026.

Previously, to pay for parking, drivers had to leave 2GIS cards, open a separate application and look for a parking room, but now there is no need to switch. The navigator has a built-in form YuAssa, through which you can pay with a bank card.

The capability is implemented in two scenarios. When moving to the destination, the 2GIS recognizes entry into the paid zone and displays a notification with a payment button.

An alternative way is to select a parking lot on the map and see the desired button. After clicking, the user will go to the secure payment page UKassa, where you need to enter the card details and confirm the transaction.

File:Aquote1.png
Integration with 2GIS is a logical step in the development of the city's payment infrastructure. Now a motorist can not only choose parking, get along the optimal route, but also pay for it - right in the navigator. This reduces the time for routine operations and reduces the likelihood of getting a fine due to technical difficulties with payment, - said Dmitry Gnilitsa, director of B2B products at YuKassa.
File:Aquote2.png

This feature is available to registered users of the 2GIS application. The service allows you to pay for parking in all street parking lots operated by the GKU "Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space" - and this is more than 176 thousand places. New zones will also be connected to payment through the service as the network expands. The transaction charges a fee according to geoservice rates.

The partnership with 2GIS expands the presence of YuOney payment services in the transport payment segment. The company is already the main acquirer in replenishing the parking account of the Administrator of the Moscow parking space and has established itself as a service with a high speed of payments.

Routes along the opened stations of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya line in St. Petersburg

2GIS began to build routes along the new stations of the Krasnoselsko-Kalinin line in St. Petersburg. The company 2GIS announced this on December 26, 2025.

On December 26, 2025, the stations of the Krasnoselsko-Kalinin line - Putilovskaya and Yugo-Zapadnaya opened in St. Petersburg. Immediately after the launch of the movement, routes with new stations became available to users of the 2GIS geoservice - both in mobile applications for iOS and Android, and in the desktop version on the site 2gis.ru.

The Putilovskaya and Yugo-Zapadnaya metro stations are already taken into account when building routes in the 2GIS geoservice. These stations, like everyone else in the 2GIS, have their own card with useful information, where you can find out about the entrances and exits, which streets they lead to and the time of work. When building a metro route in 2GIS, users will receive a hint of which car is better to sit in and which way to leave the train.

Detailed 3D diagrams of metro stations

2GIS added detailed 3D diagrams of metro stations. Now you can look in advance at the location of exits, escalators, platforms and crossings in order to quickly navigate inside the station. 3D schemes are already available for more than 50 metropolitan metro stations - for all stations inside the Ring Line. The developer announced this on November 13, 2025.

Detailed 3D diagrams of metro stations in 2GIS greatly simplify navigation for users. Thanks to them, you can find out in advance where the necessary exits, transfers, escalators, platform sides and other objects are located. The function will help you navigate faster and plan your route easier. This is especially useful for those who first visit the subway or are not familiar with a particular station.

You can view the diagrams by clicking on the "Station diagram" button in the card of the station or metro entrance for which there is a diagram. In the 2GIS, you can see all the way in the metro - from the entrance, through escalators and crossings between stations, to the exit. Detailed plans appeared on the map with turnstiles, ticket offices, charging stations for phones, ATMs, you can see chandeliers, columns and even models of trains that come to the station. In addition, in the metro layer you can see the schematic outlines of the underground parts of the stations for all stations in Moscow.

File:Aquote1.png
Usually maps help to navigate the streets, but underground it is also easy to get lost, especially in large cities. We have added 3D schemes of metro stations in Moscow so that users can plan the route inside the station in advance and quickly find the necessary exits and crossings, "said Alevtina Goryacheva, data product manager at the 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

In the future, the number of metro stations with 3D schemes will increase, detailed stations will appear in others. cities of the country 3D diagrams of metro stations Moscow within the Ring Line are already available in the current version 2GIS applications in for and, iOS Android as well as on the website 2gis.ru.

Adding Public Transport Fare Information

Planning trips around the city has become more convenient: 2GIS he added to application information the cost of public travel. transport When building a route, users see the cost of each section of the path and the amount for the entire trip, if it is with transfers. This helps not only to choose the most convenient route, but also to save money - for example, due to fewer transfers or choosing a cheaper type. transport This was announced by 2GIS on November 10, 2025.

2GIS already shows the fare in more than 100 cities of Russia - depending on what is in the city: buses, trolleybuses, trams, minibuses, metro. In Moscow - and at the MCC, MCD. The function is available for most routes, and their number is growing every day.

To find out the fare, it is enough to build a route in the 2GIS application. Geoservice will offer route options and show the cost for everyone. If there are transfers in the route, the cost of each type of transport and the total approximate amount for the entire journey will be displayed.

GIS knows everything about public transport: shows routes, exits, sides of platforms, recommends optimal cars and helps to get to the desired place faster. Now users of the state service can see not only the route, but also its cost - this will add confidence, make the route more understandable and allow you to understand in advance how much you will need to pay for it. This function will be especially useful for large cities, where the choice of routes is large and easily confused, and for those who for the first time in the city or rarely use public transport, - said Dmitry Schwartz, product manager of Transport in 2GIS.

The price at the base rate is shown, excluding benefits and discounts. 2GIS adds fare information from official sources in each city. The data will be constantly updated.

Earlier in the 2GIS there was an opportunity to pay for travel directly in the application. This function already works in a dozen cities, for example, in Vladivostok, Yaroslavl, Kostroma. Now it has become even more convenient to use public transport in these cities: you can not only find out the cost of the route in advance, but also pay for the trip without leaving the application.

You can find out the cost of travel by public transport in the current version of the 2GIS mobile application for iOS and Android.

Lens Update

Another function appeared in the 2GIS - Lenses. It allows you to adapt the map to the user's task: traveling by car, driving on foot and by public transport, traveling or finding accommodation. Unlike ordinary layers, Lenses collect the necessary data for a specific task and hide unnecessary ones. The card adjusts to the user with one click. This was announced on October 23, 2025 by 2GIS.

Lenses in 2GIS: pedestrian, car, tourist: real estate

According to the company, in the current version of the 2GIS, five personal Lenses are already available: pedestrian, tourist, automobile, for finding real estate and even a lens for those who are nostalgic for DoubleGIS. It is designed in the spirit of the old version of the 2GIS, which was used until 2011 on a PC: in a simplified style and in the colors of the application of that time. There remains a familiar way of controlling layers, in a standard lens, the user can choose exactly those layers that he needs. All previously configured layers will remain in standard mode.

The interface remained familiar, but when entering the application, the "Lenses" button appeared, where you can select the desired mode. When selected, the map style and the logic for displaying data on the map change.

Automotive lens

For those who drive daily:

  • Shows the road situation: traffic jams, repair work, information about accidents, cameras, road ceilings
  • Prompts parking lots at destination and shows car sharing
  • Helps to build a convenient route taking into account the real road situation
  • Hides irrelevant information, such as a layer of scooters

Pedestrian lens

For those who travel around the city on foot, by scooter or by public transport:

  • Helps to navigate the city and adjusts to the needs of a pedestrian: shows crossings, wide sidewalks and paths
  • Displays scooters and rolled areas
  • Shows where friends are on the map (when the function is enabled) and hides car elements: refueling, parking or speed cameras

Tourist lens

For guests of the city and those who want to see a familiar space in a new way:

  • Highlights on the map attractions, interesting places, museums
  • Shows tourist destinations and tourist routes

Real Estate Lens

For those exploring areas of the city for and choosing an apartment:

  • Shows housing prices on the map - actual offers for the sale or rental of apartments - prices, areas, furnishings and other criteria
  • Helps choose a place to live in the city, taking into account the infrastructure around - for example, is there a school and kindergarten next to the new residential complex

DoubleGIS lens

The same design from the early 2000s - with retro colors. The DoubleGIS lens changes only the design of the map: the layers remain as in the standard version, but the appearance refers to the times when the DoubleGIS was launched from disk, the Internet was loaded for eternity, and the telephone line was occupied due to a connection to the network.

DoubleGIS lens

File:Aquote1.png
Each of us is looking for something different in the city, and we want to optimize search and choice. One thing is important for a pedestrian, another for a driver. Therefore, we collected only the necessary information in each Lens and made switching between them intuitive - literally in one tap. You do not need to search for the desired function or manually turn on layers: everything is already assembled for your task. It's like portrait or landscape mode in a phone camera - you choose what exactly you need right now, and the map adjusts.

told Vladislav Pelevina, product manager Personalization
File:Aquote2.png

The ability to independently select the necessary layers in a standard lens remains available - the user can freely switch between Lenses and adapt to any situation.

Another feature is already available in the mobile application for iOS and Android. To activate, just restart the application.

AR navigation inside shopping malls

Hiking routes with augmented reality in 2GIS will help you reach the right place in shopping centers and negate the chances of getting lost and losing time. This was announced by 2GIS on October 1, 2025.

To use this function, you need to build a walking route in the 2GIS that begins or ends in the shopping center. For example, when you need to quickly walk from the parking lot to the sporting goods store, it is enough to set the route to the store and start walking along it. Entering the shopping center, you need to press the AR route button in the 2GIS and point the phone camera at the nearest signs inside the shopping center. Based on them, the application will determine the user's location in the building and add a blue arrow to the image from the camera, which will show the direction of movement. In addition to the arrow, green marks will appear on the screen - they visualize the route path, simplify orientation and help you see the desired turn, escalator or exit in advance.

How augmented reality works in the shopping center, screenshots are 2GIS.

Walking AR navigation in the 2GIS will come in handy in various life situations - for example, when you need to quickly find a boutique or exit from the shopping center to a certain parking lot or stop, transport meet with loved ones who came in from the wrong entrance and got a little lost. It is enough for the new function to work - Internet inside the shopping center, the presence of a signal GPS or other geolocation systems is not necessary.

AR navigation in 2GIS starts from Moscow and St. Petersburg - it already works in the capital's shopping centers Aviapark, Afimall, Evropeyskiy and in the Gallery in St. Petersburg. In the future, it is possible to connect other shopping centers in different cities.

File:Aquote1.png
We are trying to change reality for the better - in October 2025, we supplemented it with visual hints on how best to get to the right place inside shopping centers, "said Dmitry Ermachenkov, product manager of new 2GIS interfaces. - We are ready to distribute the technology and are open to cooperation with other shopping and entertainment centers and public spaces in various cities.

AR navigation is available in the current version of the 2GIS application for iOS.

Revitalizing Company Card Photos

2GIS announced an AI function that will turn photos in company cards into videos. At the end of September 2025, the first examples of such videos appeared in the geoservice, and in the near future, customer companies will 2GIS be able to turn the most relevant photos of their establishments into videos using AI. The option will become available for business in your personal account in 2GIS. The company announced this on September 30, 2025.

The technology will allow businesses to save time and resources on creating visual content. It will be enough to choose one of the already uploaded photos in your personal account in the 2GIS - and the neural network will turn it into a short video. The function will be especially useful for hotels, bars, restaurants, fitness clubs, beauty salons, manicure studios, etc. With its help, you can better convey the atmosphere of the hall, show the presentation of dishes, the panorama of the room - without spending time and resources on production and post-processing.

source=GIS

Entrepreneurs can, according to their preference, publish an AI video, and if necessary, replace it with another. So far, such videos are available in cards of a limited number of companies, but very soon the function will be available to all 2GIS advertisers.

File:Aquote1.png
AI video based on real photos is an opportunity for users to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of establishments, and for business - to interest the audience without unnecessary production costs. 2GIS is the first among the cartographic services in Russia to launch such a format - we are glad to offer new experience to both companies and their clients, said Ksenia Kitnyuk, product manager of 2GIS for Business.

AI search for cafes and restaurants

On September 24, 2025, 2GIS introduced AI search for cafes and restaurants with the ability to find places in mood and atmosphere.

AI search

According to the company's information, opportunities based on artificial intelligence appeared in the search for cafes and restaurants in the geoservice (the "Eat" heading in the application or a similar query in the search bar). Search understands mood, desires and visual preferences - it helps you find a place by vibe, a photo you like or a dish you want to try.

A filter appeared in the "Eat" category - "Vibe." It helps to choose an institution not by type of kitchen and assessment, but by mood, features and purpose of the visit - based on data from company cards analyzed by artificial intelligence. You can find establishments by:

  • About: date, holiday, chat, work, feed the children
  • Mood: hang out, relax, take pictures, add mystics, just eat
  • Features: beautiful view, unusual tastes, stylish interior, world kitchens, spacious hall, healthy menu, large bar

With the help of artificial intelligence in the "Eat" category in the 2GIS, you can search not only by names - just describe in words: a dish, atmosphere or a peculiarity of a place. For example: "eat fox pasta," "apple strudel with ice cream" or "cozy cafe with desserts." AI search analyzes not only the names and specialization of cafes and restaurants, but also reviews, menus, photos and sites - and shows places that really fit the user's request.

2GIS is equipped with a visual search that can find establishments not by request, but by photos. Users can choose places with a similar interior or dish, focusing on the images they like.

File:Aquote1.png
Visual search turns inspiration into action: I liked the picture, and you immediately find similar places. This is a new way to choose - not by words, but by visual impression.
told Anastasia Turlapova, product manager of discovery search in 2GIS
File:Aquote2.png

AI search

For those who closely follow the opening of new restaurants and the work of their favorite chefs, there are:

  • "New" filter - shows establishments opened in the last three months
  • Restaurant Group Search - shows known network projects

AI- search of catering establishments, search for vaibes and photos are available in the current version 2GIS on iOS Android and in cities Moscow St. Petersburg Novosibirsk Yekaterinburg Kazan Krasnoyarsk:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. In Nizhny Novgorod Chelyabinsk Ufa Krasnodar Samara Omsk Perm Sochi the near future, updated search capabilities will appear in other cities. For example, photo search is Russia already available in,,,,. In the future, Vladivostok Irkutsk Rostov-on-Don Volgograd Voronezh updated search capabilities will appear in other sections of the geoservice.

Display of smart traffic light signals inside the Third Transport Ring of Moscow

Since September 2025, the navigator 2GIS began to display smart traffic light signals inside the Third Transport Ring, Moscow as well as in Khoroshevsky, Dorogomilovsky districts, Ramenki and Filevsky Park. This feature is already available in the current version applications for and. iOS Android

In the near future, traffic light signals will begin to be displayed throughout Moscow.

According to a survey of 68 thousand residents of Russia, which 2GIS conducted on Rambler & Co media resources in the summer of 2025, 98% of drivers in the country at least once encountered a situation where the traffic light was poorly visible - it was closed by a bus, truck or road sign. This function solves this problem in 2GIS - in route mode, the navigator shows seconds before changing the traffic light signal. Most respondents noted that the signal change timer is the main guideline to comfortably prepare for the start of the movement or stop in time. Now this information is always at hand, even if the traffic light is not visible from the car. Moreover, in cases where there is no timer at the traffic light itself, it is in 2GIS and synchronized with the data center in real time. The navigator shows exactly the traffic light signal and shift timer that is relevant for the current user route - this eliminates confusion and makes travel safer.

In addition, the 2GIS helps to navigate when approaching intersections, where the traffic light is not yet visible due to distance, turning the road or other cars. The signal with the timer will already be displayed on the map, allowing the driver to understand in advance what lies ahead.

File:Aquote1.png
We started with six intersections, and now we have covered most of Moscow, and very soon the function will work throughout the capital. This is a step into the future of urban navigation and, of course, another reason to open the 2GIS - traffic light timers make traffic more predictable and driving more comfortable and safer. We already see such interest and are working on expanding the project - we plan to connect other cities in 2026 and make navigation even more useful for millions of users, "said Maxim Berezkin, head of transport and navigation products at the 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

Data is provided by the Moscow Traffic Management Center (DPC) using the AACUDD (Automated Traffic Management Systems) platform. Signals come to the 2GIS directly from smart traffic lights in Moscow. This allows you to display only current data synchronized with the user's route.

Child Profile Presentation

2GIS presented a children's profile with notifications and a history of movements. The company announced this on August 21, 2025.

"Mom, I'm already at school" - now you don't have to wait for this message. 2GIS launched a children's profile in the Friends on the Map function so that parents can see where the child is, receive notifications about his movements and view the history of routes per day. This will help families to be closer and calmer every day. The function is free for everyone and is already available - just update the application to the latest version 2GIS on iOS or Android.

The Friends on the Map feature appeared in 2GIS in 2023. It allows you to share your location with loved ones, see where who is, where he is moving, exchange emojis or communicate in chats - personal or group. The children's profile has become a logical continuation - now the family can be in touch without interrupting the day with messages "where are you?."

With the advent of a children's profile, the features are adapted for parents and work with a special level of protection: a child cannot disable the transfer of a location to a parent, delete it or untie an account.

File:Aquote1.png
Friends on the Map has long helped people feel intimacy - just knowing someone is around, even without words. And with a children's profile, a particularly warm, family context appeared in the 2GIS. He helps in ordinary, but such important situations: to see that the child is already at school - and calmly return to his business; receive a notification that he has gone home - and start cooking dinner; make sure that the daughter got on the bus - and not write "where are you?" every minute. These are simple things, but they are the ones that give parents the main thing - calm and confidence, "said Marina Konevskikh, head of the Social and User Content service in 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

How to connect a child profile for a child

  1. Go to the 2GIS application, add a child to your friends.
  2. If the child is already in friends - open his profile in the 2GIS and click the "Make an account for children" button (you can only connect the account of a child under 14 years old).
  3. After connecting, a one-time code will come, which must be entered on the child's device. After entering the code on the child's device, the account will become a child.

From that moment on, the parent will see the display of the child's current location, the phone's charge level. Additionally, you can set up notifications about visiting or leaving certain places (for example, a school or a house). And the child will stand out with a special marker and is always visible on the map - so as not to get lost among other contacts. The "special spot" and priority in the issue allow you to find it in just a second.

There are also push notifications about the child's new friends - if the child adds someone, the parent will find out about it right away. If the child turns off the phone, turns off geolocation, or the device loses communication for a long time, the parent will be notified that data transmission is temporarily unavailable.

At the same time, the children's profile retains all the key features of the 2GIS: you can build routes directly to the child, and he will see in the widget how many minutes you will arrive. Conversely, if a child comes to you, you can track his path. Convenient navigation, detailed maps, exact addresses and routes - all this works in the children's profile, so that the family stays in touch and feels more confident in everyday life.

The history of movements will soon become available - it will help parents understand where the child is, notice deviations from the usual route and react in time if something goes wrong. In this case, geolocation can be hidden from other friends in standard mode, and the history of movements will be available only to the parent. These are fixed settings - they do not change by mistake or chance.

Children's profile is created for users under 14 years of age. When a child is older, the profile can be untied - and it turns into a regular one - you can see his location, correspond, configure notifications and stay in touch as before, without additional restrictions - like with any other contact.

The function is free for everyone and is already available in the current version 2GIS on iOS and Android - just update to the latest version.

Update from more than 1,500 tourist itineraries on the map

On August 19, 2025, 2GIS announced that it had added more than 1,500 tourist routes to the map to its service.

2GIS

According to the company, in 2GIS you can now find tourist routes - for walks, hikes, bike rides, excursions and runs both in the city and beyond. In the route cards you can find a description, length, travel time, relief and interesting points - from natural beauties to cozy cafes - if such data are available. Now you don't need to look for information about routes in different sources - everything is collected in one place - in 2GIS. Geoservice will show where the route begins and how it goes, help you understand in advance where the trail leads and where you can make a stop.

Including the 2GIS contains all the national tourist routes of Russia - large-scale routes passing through natural parks, historical centers and cultural landscapes. They are displayed in a full geometry map, with key parcels and all possible entry points marked. This is especially useful for those who have long wanted to travel along one of the national routes, but have faced a lack of information.

As of August 2025 Russia , more than 1,500 routes are available on city maps, and there are more and more of them.

Finding a route is easy: just enter the query "tourist routes" or "tourist routes" in the search bar in the 2GIS - a list of routes will be displayed. You can select any and see in the card a description, duration or relief. For walks in the park or in the mountains in the geoservice, you can choose "natural routes" and "mountain routes," for runs - "running routes," and for bike rides - "cycling routes." If the user is interested in a certain route, you can find it on the map by name - for example, a tourist route along the Lermontovsky places of Pyatigorsk.

Some of the routes can be found on the map - natural, sports tracks and main city routes. In the route card, you can find useful information if such data is available:

  • technical information: name, route type, duration and difficulty level,
  • key points, interesting places and their descriptions;
  • infrastructure information: availability of parking, communication, or toilets.

2GIS

Natural routes

The 2GIS presents all national tourist routes, as well as routes passing through parks, reserves and other natural attractions - you can see the complexity, terrain and duration. For example, a trail along a tiso-boxwood grove in Sochi, a walk along the Psaho Canyon (Sochi) or a trail to Beshtau (Caucasian Mineral Waters).

Sports routes

2GIS will help find routes for jogging or cycling around the city - from cosy parks to picturesque embankments and forest trails. And for those who play sports professionally, in 2GIS they noted sports tracks - these are real, structurally equipped objects: cycle tracks, ski roller tracks, highways, marathon tracks and terrencourt marked on the ground. Such routes can be seen on the map and go to them directly from the 2GIS - they will be suitable for both regular training and participation in competitions. For example, the Olympic cycle track in Moscow, the Igora Drive highway in St. Petersburg or the ski and roller track of the Laura Ski and Biathlon Complex in Krasnaya Polyana.

City and author's routes

Include architectural walks, sightseeing trails, gastronomic tours or cultural itineraries. They help to get to know the city better by walking through iconic streets, museums, monuments and interesting places.

In addition, thematic routes appeared, for example, routes on street art and art objects, entertaining family walks, bar routes or walks on the water. They can be found through search by query or name. For example: A walking route along Zamoskvorechy, a route "World of Prechistenka and Arbat" in Moscow or a bar route "From Five Corners to a Quarter of Writers in St. Petersburg."

File:Aquote1.png
The development of domestic tourism is a steady trend, and we see how user interest in travel formats inside is growing. countries Hiking routes, hiking, city walks are increasingly becoming part of everyday life. But until now, this story was difficult: I had to collect information from various sources, look for start points and directions. Now all important information about the routes has been collected in one place.

told Dmitry Schwartz, product manager Transport in 2GIS

Travel routes are already available in the current version of the 2GIS app on iOS and Android.

Add public Wi-Fi points

Geoservice 2GIS has begun displaying public Wi-Fi points on city maps - you can connect to them if the mobile Internet temporarily does not work. This was announced by 2GIS on August 15, 2025.

Wi-Fi points in the mobile application 2GIS

Mobile applications 2GIS support offline operation - just download a city map to your phone in advance. Searching for Wi-Fi points is also available offline. As of August 2025, more than 12.4 thousand public Wi-Fi points in 17 cities are displayed in the geoservice. The number of points and the list of cities are supplemented.

Marked Wi-Fi access points are located in public stops, in transport parks, libraries, cultural institutions, as well as in catering establishments trade and centers. Information about the points is provided Internetproviders by city administrations, -, and also collected by 2GIS specialists based on open data and messages from organizations.

Real-time display of traffic lights in the navigator

The Center for Traffic Management of Moscow and 2GIS launched a pilot project in the capital: the function of displaying traffic lights in the navigator in real time appeared. Right on the navigator screen, the current status and the traffic light timer are displayed - the remaining time before the signal change. Motorists will be able to see in advance what the light is now at the nearest intersection, and slow down if red or green time is already running out. This was announced by 2GIS on April 21, 2025.

source=2GIS

You can test the function in different districts of Moscow, for example, in the area of Tsvetnoy Boulevard, on Aircraft Designer Sukhoy Street (there are two traffic lights at the intersection with Margelova Street), in Krylatskoye, in the Vladykino metro area and on Veernaya Street (Minsk metro).

The technology synchronizes with smart traffic lights equipped with timers and shows only those signals that are relevant for a specific user route, which helps to avoid confusion at intersections and makes travel safer. So, for example, if the route is laid directly, the navigator will show that the green light is on the way, even if red is on in the neighboring direction (for example, for those who turn left). Thus, the navigator focuses specifically on the user's route and shows signals that are relevant only for the current route. This eliminates confusion and makes travel safer.

Data is provided by the Moscow Traffic Management Center (DPC) using the AACUDD (Automated Traffic Management Systems) platform.

File:Aquote1.png
Imagine being behind the wheel and, instead of just waiting for the traffic light to change, you see a timer that shows exactly how long it takes to green light. Thanks to the ACUDD data from the Moscow data center and 2GIS technologies, this information is displayed right in the navigator, not only making each trip more comfortable and predictable, but also filling the maps with real life. We hope that our users will appreciate this new product, - comments Maxim Berezkin, head of transport and navigation products at 2GIS. - The function is still being tested at several intersections of Moscow, and in the near future we will expand its geography - our technologies already allow us to do this, and such innovations show that 2GIS is not just maps, but a service that helps develop the industry.
File:Aquote2.png

The feature is already available in the current version 2GIS applications iOS for and, Android as well as on multimedia screens of cars that support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The emergence of realistic models of buses, trams and minibuses

2GIS "revived" public transport - now on the map you can see realistic 3D models of buses, trolleybuses, trams, minibuses that move along routes in real time. The company announced this on April 17, 2025. Previously, transport was indicated on the map with icons, and now realistic models move along the map - in the same place where the bus travels in the city. Such models make navigation more visual, and the map is lively and dynamic.

source=GIS
File:Aquote1.png
We continue to develop cards towards maximum realism, "said Andrey Kochanov, head of the map development department at 2GIS. - First came voluminous buildings, attractions, parks and roads with markings. Now the streets come to life due to moving vehicles. This is not just a visual effect, but the result of complex technological work combining data, animation and accurate geolocation. In the world, such solutions are isolated and rather experimental. In Russia, 2GIS was the first to launch urban transport in a realistic way on maps - and perhaps the first among the major mapping services in the world to work for a multimillion-dollar audience. The function helps users navigate the city faster and more accurately understand where the bus you need is located.
File:Aquote2.png

To see 3D transport models, you need to turn on the Transport layer and realistic effects, and then zoom in on the map. Models move along routes in real time, and color helps to distinguish their type: buses are indicated in blue, trams in red, trolleybuses in yellow, and minibuses in lilac. In Moscow, river trams also became realistic.

Realistic models simplify perception and navigation. It is easier for the user to understand exactly where the desired bus or tram is now, and in which direction it is moving. This is especially convenient if it is important to accurately calculate the exit time or choose the most optimal route. 3D transport models complement the overall realistic picture that 2GIS creates on the map and help you navigate the city more accurately.

The function is available in all cities where there are realistic roads and real-time transport display - in mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as in the web version on the site 2gis.ru. You just need to turn on realistic effects in the settings and the "Transport" layer.

Update with the ability to select routes for the blind

On March 24, 2025, 2GIS introduced updates for mobile app users. Now the "picture in picture" mode is available for convenient navigation along the route, improved route selection for blind users, as well as Live Activity mode for building walking routes on smartwatches and on public transport.

Mobile application

According to the company, 2GIS learned to show the route in mini-window mode - now, during a trip or walk, you can open other applications, and the route will still be in front of your eyes. It works both when navigating by car and by bike, scooter or on foot (in pedestrians routes).

File:Aquote1.png
"Picture in picture" is a solution for drivers, couriers and everyone who combines navigation with other tasks. Users can stay informed about the route without interrupting the smartphone. The mini-window with a route on the screen makes navigation more comfortable and eliminates unnecessary switches.

commented Dmitry Ermachenkov, product manager in the direction of "New Interfaces" in 2GIS
File:Aquote2.png

The function is available for the application on Android (version 7.3) and will come in handy for users who, on a trip or on a walk, follow not only the route, but also communicate in the messenger or via video link, listen to music or watch a video. You can configure the mode in the application: 2GIS - Settings - Navigator - Picture in Picture. After that, with navigation running, you can minimize the route and continue to use your smartphone - the window with the map will remain on the screen. The window can be moved around the screen and resized. And if you need to close - just drag down or click on the cross.

A year ago, 2GIS began covering the most popular scripts in VoiceOver mode - the function built into iOS reads the screen and voices the application interface, and the user can interact with it using gestures and voice commands. As a result, the most popular functions of the 2GIS application on iOS have become available to the blind.

In March 2025, 2GIS released an update for blind and visually impaired users 2GIS using the VoiceOver function - now when choosing a route, it is possible to scroll through alternative options. It is enough to swipe with three fingers to switch between routes, and VoiceOver will voice these alternatives - you can quickly select the desired route by swiping up or down when the current route is in focus. In addition, in this version, the number of the metro line and the voice of intermediate stops appeared. This makes navigation even more accessible and convenient for blind users of the application.

You can enable the VoiceOver function in the iPhone settings: Settings - Universal Access - VoiceOver - On. Additionally, nothing needs to be turned on in the 2GIS settings - the service is ready to work in the voice interface.

2GIS has become even more convenient for pedestrians: now navigation works in Live Activity mode on the Apple Watch - when you start a route in the application 2GIS information about it is automatically displayed on the watch screen - you can put your phone in your pocket, and maneuvers will be displayed on the watch. To open the route in full - just click on the Live Activity line. The phone can be left in your pocket - 2GIS will always tell you the way.

For pedestrians, the widget displays terrain with lifts and descents, helping to better plan movement. In automotive navigation, users are notified of important maneuvers and route changes directly to the clock, and thanks to integration with Always-On Display, the route remains visible even when the screen is locked.

Live Activity

Live Activity is designed with watchOS in mind and is available to all Apple Watch (WatchOS 11 +) users using the 2GIS app.

Widgets that allow you to track navigation on the lock screen are available not only on the navigator for cars, but also for pedestrians, bicycles and scooters - they work on iOS and Android platforms and show up-to-date information about the route: progress, upcoming maneuvers and other key details. Notifications are available right on the locked iPhone screen.

Mobile application

In the updated version of the 2GIS, Live Activity widgets have also appeared for public transport routes - you can track the progress of your trip directly from the lock screen or through Dynamic Island. This widget is only available for the application on iOS (version 17 +, on iPhones 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max and the 15 + line. You no longer need to open the app to find out where the bus is, how much to go to the subway or when the next transfer is. The widget is updated in real time and displays all the necessary route information.

3D Space Maps

3D maps of the premises have appeared in the 2GIS: now they can be viewed from the inside. The company 2GIS announced this on February 24, 2025.

Floor maps in mapping services appeared more than ten years ago. In a realistic format, you can see not only floor plans, but also details of the premises - check-in counters, escalators, elevators, trading kiosks or ATMs. Now it will be easier to navigate inside large buildings - especially with the function of building routes inside buildings that appeared more than a year ago in 2GIS.

source=GIS

Interiors are already available in the mobile version 2GIS for more than 60 buildings of large railway stations and airports in Russia. Right on the maps you can see passport control racks or boarding exits or on the platform. This will help you plan trips in advance and not get lost in large transport hubs.

In addition to airports and train stations, the interiors of shopping centers will appear in the 2GIS - on the maps of the shopping center you can see, for example, shopping islets, food court tables or play areas for children. As of February 2025, interiors in the Afimall shopping center are already available in 2GIS, and in the near future the interior view of the premises will be displayed in other shopping centers.

File:Aquote1.png
2GIS will help to navigate those who ended up at the airport, at a large station or in an unfamiliar shopping center. Previously, maps were able to bring to the entrance to the building, then they learned how to build routes indoors, and now with a map you can 2GIS navigate even faster by noticeable objects located inside. We added more details so that one look at the map would be enough to find escalators, check-in areas, elevators. After all, there are situations when every minute counts! And with the help of a new feature, it is easy to navigate where you can sit down and relax: tables, rows of chairs and sofas will tell you where to go, "said Alevtina Goryacheva, data product manager at the 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

To see the room from the inside in the 2GIS, you need to click on the building and bring it closer - a floor map with details in the room will appear.

3D room maps can be viewed in the current version 2GIS in applications for iOS and Android. Later they will appear in the online version on the site 2gis.ru.

Launch of "Joint Trips"

Geoservice 2GIS has launched a function - "Joint Trips," which will allow you not to get lost in the company during a trip or general event. The function is especially useful for short trips, walks with friends or even business events, when you need to coordinate on the go, but do not want to add everyone to friends forever - all participants in the trip will be able to see each other on the map for a limited time, and after the trip ends, the information will disappear automatically. The developer announced this on February 20, 2025.

How to include a joint trip to the 2GIS

  1. Open the application and go to the "Friends on the map" section.
  2. Click the "GO!" button and create an event - specify the name, description and select the duration of the trip: 24 hours, 3, 7 or 14 days.
  3. Send a link to participate to friends in any messenger.
  4. All participants in the trip will be displayed on the map for the selected time, even if they are not friends in the 2GIS.
File:Aquote1.png
We understand how important it is to stay connected on the move, especially when travelling with friends or taking part in a shared event. With ride sharing, we've made the process as simple and unobtrusive as possible - now you don't have to add everyone to friends to avoid losing each other on the map. This is a solution that gives freedom and comfort while maintaining privacy, "commented Semyon Panin, Social product manager at 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

It is important to note that at any time you can hide your location or complete the trip ahead of schedule. And if the trip was a success and the participants wanted to continue communication, you can always add new friends directly from the event card.

The Shared Travel feature is available for free to all users of the 2GIS mobile app. To use the function, you need to update the application to the latest version and be an authorized user of Friends on a Map.

Ability to upload videos to company and location cards

In 2GIS, it became possible to upload videos to company cards and places. the company announced this on February 18, 2025. Users will be able to use the video to convey the atmosphere of places, share interiors or beautiful panoramas from view restaurants, and the companies themselves will show, for example, what popular dishes, cars, hotel grounds or a warm pool look like against the background of mountains.

source=GIS

You can upload a video in the same way as photos: just click the "Add photo or video" button in the company card. The application accepts standard video formats ranging from 5 seconds long and weighing up to 1 GB. Videos, like reviews from photos, are shown if the Internet is available.

The companies themselves can add videos to the card, and the ability to add videos is available not only to advertisers, but also to all companies, regardless of their size. Companies will be able to revive the photo content feed in their card by adding videos about the product, the process of providing services, interiors or other important parts for customers that will help the user navigate and make a choice. In addition, the video helps to stand out in the search - if the user is looking for where to "eat," among the first results, in addition to photos, he will see the video - this makes the company card noticeable and even more interesting for the client.

And for advertisers, there are more options for managing and configuring, for example, sorting video content or fixing important video, for example, interviews with employees or with a satisfied client.

File:Aquote1.png
According to various studies, video content attracts significantly more attention than photos. Video in 2GIS cards will help the user learn more about the place, make a complete impression of the company or service and make your choice faster. This is not only an emotion, but also a practical benefit - the video will show how to get to the place, what is available in the vicinity, what the entrance and other important elements look like for travelers and customers of organizations. Add a video to revive the experience, - said Andrey Kozhevnikov, UGC product manager in 2GIS.

Launch of navigation on the windshield of the car and detailed navigation around the shopping center

In November 2024, it became known that the 2GIS cartographic service presented a major functionality update, including Head-Up Display and detailed plans for shopping centers with interior elements.

The new navigation system works on cars with integrated HUD displays and digital dashboards that support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature is available primarily in European and some Chinese car brands, including Haval.

"2GIS" launched navigation on the windshield of a car and detailed navigation on the shopping center

To use navigation on the windshield, just connect your smartphone to the car system via Bluetooth or USB cable. Drivers will have access to information about maneuvers and the route directly in sight.

As part of the development of indoor navigation, the service has introduced detailed interior maps displaying escalators, elevators, retail kiosks and ATMs. The first facility with this functionality was the Afimall City shopping center in Moscow.

Detailing the interior space greatly simplifies the orientation of visitors in large shopping centers. The service also expanded functionality for motorists by adding color highlighting of speed cameras, under which violations were previously recorded. The system additionally warns drivers when approaching such control points.

The update has the ability to share the route and exact arrival time even with users without an installed application. The period of access to movement information can be set for a period from one hour to a day.

The company plans to extend the detailed navigation system to other shopping centers, airports and train stations. In 2024, 2GIS also expanded the Otello housing booking service to 70 thousand objects in Russia and more than 1 million hotels in 200 countries.

The opportunity to pay for parking in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, it became possible to pay for parking using a cartographic service - in the 2GIS application. The company announced this on October 24, 2024.

The feature is available in an updated version of the geoservice app for iOS and Android phones .

2GIS has launched payment for parking lots in St. Petersburg, now motorists can pay for parking with it - without going to the parking room or opening other applications. The function is already working on the territory of all paid urban parking zones - as of October 2024, they include 652 sections of the road network in the Central, Admiralteysky, Petrograd and Vasileostrovsky districts. These places are under the jurisdiction of the "St. Petersburg City Parking Management Center" - as the network develops, new plots will also become available for payment through 2GIS.

When traveling through the navigator, the 2GIS application will inform the motorist that he is parking in the paid zone - you can go to payment by clicking on the button in the navigator's prompt. In addition, the user can simply click in the parking lot on the geoservice card - and if it is paid, her card will also have a button for payment. After clicking, the payment page will open, where you can check it with your bank card. The payment service works on the decision of an external integrator, the commission of which is 3% - for example, when paying for an hour of parking a car in St. Petersburg, which costs 100 rubles, the commission will be equal to 3 rubles.

File:Aquote1.png
This option will 2GIS increase convenience and save time for car owners - there is no need to go in search of a column with a parking number and download a separate application for payment - it is much easier to pay without leaving the car and navigator, "said Mikhail Skrinnik, product manager of transport in 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

Previously, a parking layer appeared in the 2GIS - you can turn it on with a button in the upper left corner on the main screen of the application. The layer will highlight in color all available places in the city where to park the car - both paid and free, both public and only for residents. At the same time, you can choose which parking lots to show on the map - this helps to better navigate and avoid fines for incorrect parking.

Detailed 3D models of seven cramels

2GIS transferred the beauty of famous structures to the map - now you can virtually walk along them and see from new angles the details of architectural ensembles, facades, park territories. The company announced this on October 2, 2024.

Realistic models of the seven Kremlin of Russia have appeared in the 2GIS - those that are most often searched on maps. They are located in six cities: Moscow, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan, Pskov, Ryazan. You can choose where to go this fall on a virtual, and then on a real trip. 3D models on maps repeat the main architectural forms, elements and colors of facades of iconic objects and buildings - this will help city residents and tourists study travel locations in advance and better navigate the city.

File:Aquote1.png
We have added virtual copies of the Kremlin so that users can assess the scale and power of these architectural dominants on maps, be inspired and navigate. The total length of the Kremlin walls of these seven structures exceeds 10 km - this is more than the Great Wall of China. We are already working on 3D models of other Kremles, - said Natalya Teedemaa, chief process engineer of the 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

In addition to buildings, the map shows the interior: observation platforms, benches and lanterns, trees - already in the autumn design of the map, with yellow crowns. And in the nocturnal theme, you can see lanterns and windows in buildings lighting up - as in real life at nightfall.

Right on the maps of the 2GIS, you can go, for example, to the Moscow Kremlin and look at the long 125-meter facade of the Grand Kremlin Palace, which stretches along the embankment of the Moscow River, and to all the Kremlin's structures, for example, the Assumption Cathedral, Teremnaya Palace, Arsenal, Senate Palace, Faceted Chamber and other important elements of the ensemble. All objects on the map are as detailed as possible - even small elements are visible, for example, in the Alley of Hero Cities you can see the eternal flame.

In addition to the country's main Kremlin, in 2GIS you can walk through the white stone Kazan Kremlin, which was built under Ivan the Terrible; the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin by Italian Pietro Francesco; look at the southernmost Kremlin of Russia - Astrakhan; see one of the oldest Russian Kremlin, which was built at the end of the XI-beginning of the XII century - the Pskov Kremlin or in the Ryazan Kremlin to look at Oleg's Palace.

In total, 1084 realistic sights are presented on the maps of 2GIS in Russia for October 2024, including the Krasnodar Stadium, the Palace of Farmers, the building of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair or Zaryadye Park. Almost 200 realistic buildings are represented in Moscow, and many of them are going to complexes following the example of the Moscow Kremlin. So, on the maps you can see the complex of the business center "Moscow City," the architectural ensemble of VDNH, Manezhnaya Square, Varvarka Street.

Electric train routes and super-detailed roads

On April 26, 2024, 2GIS announced that it had added electric train routes and schedules, detailed realistic roads with markings and updated navigator cursors.

According to the company, a railway transport schedule has appeared in the 2GIS - now users can build the optimal route taking into account electric trains, and in Moscow also at the MCD and aeroexpress.

2GIS

2GIS began to build routes on public transport not only taking into account buses, trolleybuses, trams and the metro (depending on what is in the city), but also taking into account electric trains. Now the service will calculate the exact travel time taking into account the train schedule and will offer this travel option if it is convenient. And also - it will tell you the next flights, waiting time, arrival and travel time so that the user knows exactly how to get faster. On the 2GIS travel screen, you can click on the "About the route" button to find out useful details, for example, a detailed schedule for the whole day, in order to better plan the trip.

With electric trains, 2GIS now builds combined routes - for example, when the first part of the path is on foot, the second - by train, the third - by metro. The service will also tell you how long it will take, taking into account the waiting for the train on the platform and the trip itself.

The 2GIS already has a schedule of more than 1240 electric trains in 21 cities - in Moscow,, St. Petersburg,, Nizhny Novgorod,, Perm,, Krasnoyarsk,, Vladivostok,, Yekaterinburg,, Novokuznetsk,, Novosibirsk,, Volgograd,,,, and Irkutsk. Kazan Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Krasnodar Rostov-on-Don Most Toole Kirov Eagle Kaliningrad To Samara of these Sochi routes in Moscow are 557, taking into account the MCD, MCC and aeroexpress.

Over time, the number of routes and schedules of railway transport in the 2GIS will increase, very soon they will be added for seven more cities - Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Barnaul, Saratov, Nizhny Tagil and Ryazan.

With the May update, realistic roads with actual width, markings, traffic lights and parking pockets appeared in the 2GIS geoservice. You can enable the mode of ultra-detailed roads in the navigator settings. And if the user previously had the "three-dimensional roads" mode turned on, which 2GIS introduced in the fall of 2023, ultra-detailed coatings and markup will appear automatically.

File:Aquote1.png
Realistic roads are a logical continuation of the development of detailed immersive maps. Ultra-detailed roads in 2GIS allow card users to reach the next level of interaction with the application - now their experience will become even more complete and voluminous, and the use of the service will become more convenient, especially for drivers. Work on the details of the maps continues. Gradually, the coverage area with realistic roads will increase, and bike paths will also be displayed on the roads.

told Maxim Berezkin, Head of Transport and Navigation Product in 2GIS
File:Aquote2.png

In addition to paving and marking on the roads, pedestrian crossings and traffic lights, volume interchanges, exits, safety islands are drawn in 3D format in large cities, supports on multi-level roads are detailed, and the entrances to the tunnels are displayed in real 3D view, which creates the effect of immersion and presence on the trip, helping to navigate the journey.

The first 3D models in immersive format appeared in 2GIS in July 2023. As of April 2024, almost a thousand realistic sights and iconic architectural structures are available in the geoservice in more than 100 cities of Russia. Among them, for example, VDNH, the Moscow Kremlin, the State Hermitage (St. Petersburg) and the first realistic model of the airport in Russia - Sochi International Airport named after V.I. Sevastyanova. In addition to buildings, parks and courtyards have become realistic in the 2GIS - more than 10 million trees and shrubs have been "planted" on maps.

Road updates are already available in all million-plus cities in Russia, as well as in,, and for and Sochi Irkutsk Murmansk Leninsk-Kuznetsky mobile application. iOS Later, Android detailed roads will appear in the online version of the 2GIS. The size of downloaded city maps will not increase.

Updated cursors have appeared in the geoservice, which are configured in the navigator. You can turn on, for example, a classic car, sports car, all-terrain vehicle, motorcycle and even UFOs - cursors can be changed depending on the mood.

To turn on the desired cursor, you need to go to the navigator settings, open the "updated navigator cursors" and select the desired icon. Cursors are available in the mobile app on iOS and Android platforms, as well as in CarPlay and Android Auto.

Trains, realistic roads and cursors are already available in 2GIS for iOS and Android, you can update the application or download it from the App Store and Google Play. On Google Play, the official 2GIS app returned at the end of April 2024.

Presentation of the 3D model of Sochi Airport

2GIS April 22, 2024 presented the first realistic 3D model of the airport - Sochi International Airport named after V.I. Sevastyanova. Now in the geoservice you can see in detail the architecture of the terminal and the adjacent territory - up to which trees grow nearby. This immersion in the urban landscape of one of the most popular resort cities will make orienteering in it more convenient and pleasant.

The object is drawn comprehensively - the main airport building, VIP terminal and railway tunnel can be approached and viewed from different directions. In addition, telescopic ladders and even 3D models of aircraft are displayed on the platform in a realistic form. Depending on the time of day, the map changes the display mode of a realistic airport model: as in a real city, at night it looks different than during the day.

File:Aquote1.png
2GIS continues to develop maps of the future and continuously improve geoservice. A year ago, we launched the first 3D models in immersive format, and now about a thousand realistic models of the country's main buildings and attractions are available in the geoservice, "said Dmitry Demchenko, head of the 2GIS 's technology department. - The first immersive airport on maps was Sochi International Airport, which is located in one of the most popular year-round resort cities in Russia and ranks fifth in terms of passenger turnover in the country. Work on the details of the maps continues, gradually realistic models and other air terminals will be drawn on the maps of the 2GIS, which will help users immerse themselves in the urban landscape even before visiting the city, assess the scale and beauty in anticipation of the flight.
File:Aquote2.png

File:Aquote1.png
We strive to make the stay of our guests as comfortable as possible. Therefore, together with the geoservice 2GIS we created a 3D model of our airport in immersive format. Now each passenger can easily navigate in space, which will help to find the necessary locations at the airport even before arriving in Sochi, "said Alexey Komarov, Managing Director of Sochi Airport.
File:Aquote2.png

On the maps, floor plans of the airport 2GIS also drawn, which help visitors navigate inside the terminals, showing the location of entrances and exits, stairs, elevators. The service will tell you the desired one of 30 boarding gates, orient where any of the more than 150 organizations is located, including airline representative offices, catering establishments, shops, taxi services, ATMs, a pharmacy and Aero hotel, indicating the operating mode, visitor reviews and other useful information. With the help of 2GIS, airport visitors will be able not only to find important airport infrastructure, but also to build a route to them inside the building - the service will tell you where it is better to climb or turn to reach the desired place.

As of April 2024, realistic models are available in 2GIS in more than 100 cities of Russia. Among them, for example, VDNH, the Moscow Kremlin, the State Hermitage (St. Petersburg), the Iceberg Ice Sports Palace (Sochi).

A realistic 3D model of the airport is already available on the 2gis.ru website, as well as mobile application iOS for and. Android The size of downloaded city maps will not increase - realistic 3D models are loaded online if available. Internet

Displaying weather information

2GIS began to display weather information on the maps - the actual air temperature in the selected location, the presence of clouds and precipitation. Now it will be more convenient for users to plan trips and walks - for example, choose a weather-appropriate way to move around the city, find out if it is raining at their destination and whether they need to take an umbrella. This was announced by 2GIS on April 11, 2024.

The weather widget on the main screen of the mobile application 2GIS shows what the air temperature is now, cloudy and whether there is precipitation - in the part of the city that the user sees on the map. When moving the map, the weather changes to the current one in the new location. 2GIS receives weather data from the Meteonosti service of DANIO press.

The weather is already available on the main screen of the 2GIS application on iOS, in the near future it will appear in navigator mode, as well as in the geoservice application for Android.

Real-time availability of electric stations

The mapping service has 2GIS begun to show availability electrogas stations - users can see where there are free charging slots. electric vehicle This feature is already available mobile application in 2GIS on and. Android iOS Geoservice analysts also compiled a rating cities for the average cost of charging an electric car. The developer announced this on April 10, 2024.

According to the 2GIS, there are stations for charging electric vehicles for April 2024 in more than 500 cities and settlements of Russia. You can find them at the request of the "electric vehicle charging station" - such stations will be marked in the search result markers on the map with special icons with lightning, as well as marked in the list and in the cards. Those stations where all or most of the charging connectors are free have a green dot, partially free or fully occupied - orange: just one click in the geoservice will show how many terminals are available now. Charging status information is updated in real time. Gray icons on the map show stations that are not currently operating.

source=GIS
File:Aquote1.png
This function will save time and make the right decision where to charge an electric car. It is especially useful when the scenario for viewing the charging status is now available in the same application that helps you choose companies and places in cities and immediately build routes to them, "said Alexander Syrkov, head of products for 2GIS users. - This became possible thanks to the pilot project of the unified information service of charging stations for electric transport of the Ministry of Power of the Russian Federation. Now data on the current status of the ESS are recorded and transmitted to the geoservice in real time, and the number of such stations is constantly growing. As of April 2024, more than a thousand such stations are available in the 2GIS, for example, charging the networks Energia Moskvy, Rosseti, RusHydro and Siberia Charges. Over time, their number on the cards will increase.
File:Aquote2.png

Electric charge cards in the 2GIS indicate the type of connector, power and charge cost. Geoservice analysts calculated the average cost of charging in the ten cities with the most stations in the country. In Moscow, a significant number of publicly available ESS are free, but like in other cities there are paid stations - on their basis, the average cost of charging was calculated.\

Krasnoyarsk became the city with the cheapest charging cost out of 10 cities with the largest number of ESS in Russia - the average cost of kW/h here is 10.52 rubles. At the opposite end of the rating, St. Petersburg - the cost of one kWh in the northern capital is almost 19 rubles.

Optimizing an iOS app for visually impaired users

The cartographic service 2GIS has been updated mobile application for - iOS now sight it will be much easier and more convenient for users with violations to navigate the city: find organizations and build routes and transport. The company announced this on April 2, 2024.

2GIS began to fully work in VoiceOver mode - the function built into iOS reads the screen and voices the application interface, and the user can interact with it using gestures and voice commands. As a result, the most popular functions of the 2GIS application on iOS have become available to the blind: for example, you can find a place, find out the latest information about it, call the contact number, build a route, understand which transport goes and at which stop to leave.

File:Aquote1.png
We are improving technologies for different active audiences - and have significantly improved the application so that people with visual impairments find it easier and more comfortable to find the necessary places and organizations and get to them, "said Alexander Syrkov, head of product development for 2GIS users.
File:Aquote2.png

According to him, previously the most advanced solutions for blind users were foreign mapping services, but now 2GIS can fully replace them in this area - now on iOS, in the future - on phones with Android.

You can enable the VoiceOver function in the iPhone settings in the "Universal Access" menu. Additionally, nothing needs to be turned on in the 2GIS settings - the service is ready to work in the voice interface. An updated version of the VoiceOver-enabled 2GIS is already available in the App Store.

Use in the "Intercessor" service

The Russian mobile service "Intercession" began to use 2GIS technologies to help children in an emergency - maps are already integrated into the application and are available to users. This was announced by 2GIS on February 28, 2024. Read more here.

DashBoard mode support in Apple CarPlay

2GIS supported the mode DashBoard Apple in CarPlay - now on navigator the multimedia screen car you can run simultaneously with other applications, for example, music or calendar. A map with the user's route will take up half the screen. The company 2GIS announced this on February 7, 2024.

File:Aquote1.png
GIS appeared on CarPlay five years ago as the first among Russian navigators and for February 2024 remains the only one among them, available on CarPlay and Android Auto for free and without any subscriptions - the audience of the service on these platforms is growing, and many users asked us to support the widget mode, which we did, "said Sergey Kirillov, product manager of transport in 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

Previously, 2GIS worked on CarPlay in a car approximately like on a phone - when launched, the navigator occupied the entire screen. Now the owners of cars with Apple CarPlay have a choice - they can run 2GIS on the entire multimedia screen or half.

The main screen will be divided into several widgets: a menu with time display and running applications, a large widget with a map, a widget with prompts and a player window. From the main screen, you can build a Home or To Work route in one click - this works if the user has specified addresses in the Favorites section of the application.

The 2GIS widget on CarPlay can be used in navigation mode without a route - when the user does not indicate the end point of the trip, but the enabled navigator keeps up to date with the situation on the city roads: shows traffic jams, helps to monitor speed, reports traffic cameras.

In 2023, 2GIS supported a similar mode of operation of the navigator on cars with Android Auto.

Add information on the cost of electric filling stations

2GIS detailed information about electric vehicle charging stations on the map - in particular, the geoservice began to show the cost of charging, connector types and power, and in the near future it will begin to display availability in real time: users will be able to see where there are free seats right now, and where there is no point in going - everything is busy. The company announced this on January 29, 2024.

The number of electric stations is rapidly increasing following the increase in the number of electric vehicles themselves. Over the past year, there have been twice as many such points in Russia and reached 3225. 2GIS displays the official public stations that any owner of an electric car or rechargeable hybrid can use.

Now in the cards of such stations in the 2GIS are displayed:

  • type of connector (there are many of them - you can choose the appropriate one) and their number at the station,
  • power (affects charging speed),
  • cost per kW.

You can find electric vehicle charging stations in the 2GIS search or by selecting the appropriate layer from the menu. Points are highlighted on the map, when approaching, you can see the main characteristics of each station.

File:Aquote1.png
Over the past year, our users have become three times more likely to look for electric vehicle charging stations - now they can easily find on the map all the relevant information about such places, "said Alexander Syrkov, head of products for 2GIS users. - We try to make the product useful for different audiences, and it is quite obvious that the audience of electric vehicle drivers will actively grow in the coming years.
File:Aquote2.png

According to the 2GIS, in January 2024, there are publicly available electric stations in more than 500 cities and settlements of Russia.

The ability to choose a route with a detour of places with poor GPS

2GIS has supplemented the capabilities of the navigator - now you can choose a route with a detour of places where there are difficulties with the correct determination of the geoposition. This option is enabled in the settings and is already available in mobile applications for iOS and Android. This was announced by 2GIS on December 25, 2023.

source=2GIS

To turn on the filter, you need to click on the "Avoid zone with poor GPS" button, which will appear on the route construction screen. The route will be built where the signal is better.

File:Aquote1.png
The filter will help you build convenient routes where, first of all, there are difficulties with determining the location, for example, in the center. The new function will be useful for those who need to drive from one end of the city to the other, or those whose usual route lies through the center, and, of course, for couriers or taxi drivers, - said the product manager Transport in 2GIS Sergey Kirillov.
File:Aquote2.png

The filter is available in Navigator mode when building routes. The navigator takes into account the filter settings when leaving the route, when rebuilding it, or when proposing a route, it is better.

This feature already works on iOS and Android platforms - just update the application to the latest version.

500 realistic buildings and updated navigator

On November 23, 2023, 2GIS presented updated geoservice capabilities: on the maps you can now see friends, more than 500 realistic 3D models of buildings, drive a car along three-dimensional road junctions and build a route to the entrance or the desired parking lot.

As reported, 2GIS began to show friends on the map - in the geoservice you can now exchange location with family and friends. This will allow you to see where friends gather, watch their movement, exchange reactions and stay in touch.

The function works in the mobile application 2GIS on iOS and Android and is still available only by invitation link. After mutual addition to friends in the 2GIS, users will be able to see where the friend is, spread emoji along the way to work, see which place the friend liked, or offer to meet when someone nearby. Friends on the Map is available to users for free and without any subscriptions.

{{quote 'author
= told Marina Konevskikh, product lead GIS' In 2023, we made the maps look like a real city, and now we have added more life, movement, tactility to them. In the 2GIS, you can see where your loved ones are. Meet spontaneously if they are around. In one click, build a route to a friend or just find out where he is, how things are. Thanks to Friends on the Map, it's easier to stay in touch with family and friends. Only those allowed by the user will see the geoposition.}}

Кнопка «Бамп» — ещё один способ добавить друга на карту: нужно рядом с ним вместе потрясти phones (both friends should already have this feature activated)

Friends service settings will be optimized and developed. Until the end of 2023, the application will be able to control its visibility - it will be possible to "hide" from a friend's card for a while or forever.

In order to enable Friends on the Map, you need to update the application to the latest version (or download it if it has not been installed) and follow a special link from a friend or 2GIS. It is not yet possible to connect the service without an invitation link. The function works after allowing tracking of the constant geoposition in the operating system settings. Friends on the map are already available in the latest version of the mobile app for iOS and Android.

According to the 2GIS, 93% of drivers build routes to buildings and already on the spot solve the problem of choosing the right parking or the right entrance. 2GIS knows all the entrances and parking lots - and now the navigator has learned to benefit from this: already at the start of the route, he will offer the driver the best way to the right place and parking. If you need to get to a residential building, it will tell you the way to the entrance or the nearest parking lots, if to commercial buildings - it will offer to choose parking nearby. The user will be able to see which parking lots are within a radius of 300 m from the point - paid, free, public, for customers or, for example, only for residents of the business center.

Search for the desired entrance

These navigator capabilities are already available in mobile applications 2GIS for iOS and Android - in all cities where the service is present.

2GIS launched the next generation maps and continues to develop them, introduced realistic buildings and parks in the summer, and 3D road junctions, bridges and tunnels in the fall. The number of detailed 3D models of buildings on maps is constantly growing - as of November 2023, there are already more than 500 in 40 cities of the country.

3D buildings can be approached and viewed from different angles. Depending on the time of day, the display mode of realistic models changes: as in a real city, at night they look different than during the day. Such maps create an immersive effect, help you navigate better, are visual and simply beautiful.

File:Aquote1.png
Thanks to compact 3D models, we recreate architectural ensembles and surrounding spaces. In addition to buildings, we made parks and courtyards realistic - we "planted" more than 9.5 million trees and shrubs on the maps. In the summer they were green, in the fall they turned yellow, and very soon they will be sprinkled with snow - such a dive into the urban landscape will make orienteering in the city more convenient.

told Dmitry Demchenko, head of the technological department 2GIS
File:Aquote2.png

In addition to iconic buildings and attractions on the maps 2GIS there are also models of new buildings in a realistic 3D format. Users can see how the residential complex will look in detail at the initial stage of construction, understand what is nearby and how the courtyard will be ennobled.

On 2GIS maps in navigator mode, you can see realistic roads - with three-dimensional bridges, tunnels, transport interchanges, and very soon - with lane marking - first on the streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg, and later in other cities of Russia. In the near future, lane guidance will also appear - the navigator will help users navigate in advance, where and where it is better to rebuild so as not to miss the desired turn.

3D models of buildings are available in mobile applications 2GIS for iOS and Android and on the company's website. Realistic 3D models are shown online when the Internet is available.

Add 3D interchanges, bridges and tunnels

Three-dimensional interchanges, bridges and tunnels appeared on 2GIS maps. The developer of the service announced this on October 13, 2023.

After the release of immersive buildings and parks, detailed roads appeared on geoservice maps: road junctions, bridges and tunnels are shown in a realistic form. The roads in the application have become more informative - this will help you better navigate in navigator mode.

It is in navigator mode that you can see a detailed display of the roadway - bridges, tunnels and the height of road junctions are now shown on maps. Elevation changes are best seen at difficult interchanges. Now one look at the map is enough to understand the location and direction of the roads. This feature is already available in test mode in the mobile application 2GIS on, and from Android October 16, 2023 - on. iOS The function works in 12 cities: in,,, To Moscow,, St. Petersburg,, Novosibirsk,, Yekaterinburg,,, and Kazan. Nizhny Novgorod Krasnodar Sochi To Samara Saratov Irkutsk To Vologda You can enable realistic roads in the navigator settings.

{{quote 'We are continuously improving the geoservice - we have launched three-dimensional road models and will be happy to receive feedback from users in order to use our service even more convenient. Work on the details of the maps continues, and in the near future the roads will become even more realistic - like behind the windshield of a car, - comments Maxim Berezkin, head of the transport and navigation product in 2GIS. }}

Gradually, such roads will appear on the maps of other cities. Very soon, the actual width and markings will be displayed on them - this will allow you to see in which lanes a traffic jam has formed, where it is better to make a U-turn or park the car.

The size of downloaded city maps will not increase. Three-dimensional roads will be shown when the function is turned on in the navigator settings offline, provided that the city is downloaded and online, if the Internet is available . 2GIS maps are available on the 2gis.ru website, as well as in the mobile application for iOS and Android.

Improving the display of geoposition on iOS in Moscow

The mobile 2GIS has learned to more accurately determine the user's location on the city map - by analyzing more data from, and satellites GPS GLONASS. BeiDou Now the changes are most noticeable in the version for geoservice - iOS and especially where there are GPS failures, for example, in the center. The Moscow company 2GIS announced this on October 6, 2023.

The application receives from the phone (from the services built into the operating system that receive satellite signals) a large set of geodots - user locations according to various satellites: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou. Algorithms 2GIS analyze this set and, taking into account the direction of movement of the user, show its geoposition - as a rule, it is tied to a road, bike path or pedestrian sidewalk (path in the park), depending on how the user moves. If earlier algorithms analyzed all geodots received from satellites with a radius of 50 m from the user, now the radius has been expanded to 150 m. This has significantly increased the amount of analyzed data and led to a more accurate determination of the geoposition. In addition, you can enable wi-fi on your phone - this will expand the capabilities of the operating system to specify the location of the device.

File:Aquote1.png
The updated logic for determining geoposition already works in 2GIS on iOS - on any iPhone where there is an up-to-date version of the mobile application. This helps to navigate routes, for example, in the center of Moscow, "said Maxim Berezkin, product lead of transport in 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

Similar changes are already available in the 2GIS version for, Android which can be downloaded from the official apk.2gis.ru website or in six online stores Android applications. However operating system , this location is determined differently than on iOS, so changes in the geoservice may not be so noticeable. However, the 2GIS is developing and testing new algorithms based on, neuronets which will soon complement existing capabilities and significantly improve the definition of geoposition on Android devices.

The updated location logic is already available in current 2GIS versions for iOS and Android.

Ability to build routes inside buildings

2GIS began building routes inside the buildings and released a large update to the navigator. This was announced on September 5, 2023 by representatives of the 2GIS.

2GIS

As reported, as of September 2023, this works in 2,200 shopping centers in Russia - where there are floor plans on 2GIS maps. In addition, the navigator began to show data that will help you quickly choose a route on public transport, on foot, on a scooter and bicycle.

Previously, cards were able to bring to the entrance to the shopping center, and then they showed the direction in which direction to go in order to get to the desired point inside the shopping center. Now 2GIS users will see a dotted line that will draw on all floors of the shopping center to a specific store, tell you climbs and descents to other floors by elevator, escalator or stairs. The navigator inside the building works differently than on the street - since the exact location in the premises has not yet been determined, 2GIS creates a static route diagram with which it is easier for the user to navigate.

2GIS
File:Aquote1.png
The 2GIS has data on passages in the shopping center, stairs, escalators, elevators, the location of shops and boutiques, we have released an update for a pedestrian navigator, which allows you to build routes inside buildings in the absence of an accurate geoposition of the user. In the near future, it will be possible to build routes in 2GIS at airports, train stations and business centers.

told Andrey Miroshnikov, product manager 2GIS
File:Aquote2.png

The user chose a boutique in the shopping center and built a route to it in the 2GIS - a dotted line on the map of the building in detail will show how to go. Where and where to turn, where and how to move to another floor - on the elevator or on the escalator. You can switch between the floors of the shopping center on the map using the buttons on the left side of the screen. So far, not all objects inside buildings are supported by algorithms, so in some cases routes (for example, to shopping islands) can be built in the old way - a straight line. These cases will be finalized in the next updates.

2GIS

As of September 2023, you can build routes inside buildings in all major city shopping centers, floor maps of which already exist in 2GIS - there are more than 2,200 such shopping centers in Russia. This feature is already available in mobile versions of 2GIS for Android and iOS.

2GIS has launched an updated route build screen. Those who move around the city not on a personal or rented car have the most information on the route. Here is the length of climbs and descents, and calories spent, and the presence of dirt roads or bike lanes and much more. The most important information is now shown immediately on the main route screen and helps you choose the best path.

2GIS

When choosing routes on public transport, you can now see how many walking segments and transfers have to be overcome, which exit from the metro is better to go to. And the schedule of routes will help to understand whether you need to rush to a stop or you can go without a rush. The navigator will warn you about the first and last flights on the routes, and also can tell you when to exit.

Launch of car sharing aggregator

In January 2023, 2GIS launched a car sharing aggregator. On the map, you can select a car available for rent and build a route to it.

On the map "2GIS" you can find any car-sharing car and get full information about the car: by clicking on the icon, the application will show the model and the fuel level in the tank, for electric cars - the battery charge. Information on rental tariffs is provided by car sharing services, and places where cars are parked are updated once a minute. This data will help you navigate which car is better to choose, according to the service developers.

2GIS: maps and offline navigator

Directly from the "2GIS" you can go to the car sharing application to book a suitable car. Also in the "2GIS" you can build the shortest route on any type of transport or on foot.

File:Aquote1.png
The goal of 2GIS is to help people choose the really best way to get there. In large cities, car sharing has become a wonderful alternative to taxis, public transport and walking. So that our users can compare all the options, we have launched a car sharing aggregator that shows cars of different services and allows you to choose the appropriate distance, cost, fuel level, "said Andrei Miroshnikov, product manager of transport at 2GIS.
File:Aquote2.png

By January 23, 2023, cars "" and "" are available on Sitidraiva the 2GIS maps. Delimobile According to Andrei Miroshnikov, the company is ready to connect new car sharing operators, "so that users can choose in any city where this type of transport is developed."

The choice of car sharing is available in the new version of the 2GIS application for Android in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In addition, maps and reference data "2GIS" appeared in the mobile applications "Citidriva" and "Delimobile" for smartphones on iOS and Android.[1][2]

Adding Jurent scooters to the map

On June 2, 2022, it became known that mobile application "" 2GIS now shows on the maps Russian cities scooters of the service "" Jurent- before any of them you can build a route to book and start a trip.

Illustration: content-review.com

Thanks to integration with the Yurent electric scooter rental service, information about scooters appeared on 2GIS maps. To see it in the 2GIS, you need to click on the button in the upper left corner of the screen and select the desired layer.

The card of each scooter contains information about the cost of its lease, battery charge, time and duration of the trip to full discharge. This data will help you choose a scooter that will last for a long trip. And right from the 2GIS you can go to the Jurent application to book a suitable scooter.

2GIS in real time shows the location, charge and booking status of scooters on the map. The scooter will wait at the start of the trip if you book it in advance. And in order to get to the start point faster 2GIS it will help to build the shortest route on any type of transport or on foot.

File:Aquote1.png
"Electric scooters are not just for rest. In cities, this is a full-fledged mode of transport that will help you get to the nearest stop during rush hour, and in the evening and at the weekend - spend time on a walk. With the development of cycling infrastructure in cities, scooters will become even more in demand, "-

says 2GIS transport integration manager Lev Zabababko.
File:Aquote2.png

File:Aquote1.png
"The sharing of electric scooters is a rapidly growing type of urban transport in demand. We strive to give our users more opportunities to rent scooters in their usual application. Together with the 2GIS geoservice, we will be able to make it even more convenient for people to travel around the city on electric scooters, and the cities themselves are more accessible, "-

says Yurent product director Dmitry Sushkevich.
File:Aquote2.png

The layer with scooters is available in the current version of the mobile applications "2GIS" for Android and iOS in 74 cities of Russia, where the "Jurent" service works[3]

Salute's assistants in geoservice 2GIS on Android

On April 14, 2022, the company 2GIS announced that its users on - Androidsmartphones can interact with. Launch a navigator with geotechnology available for other applications

On November 18, 2021, it became known that the company GIS " presented the next version of the navigator. It has two main changes - data and interface. In addition, the developers talked about the geotechnology of GIS, "which appear in other well-known services.

Illustration: www.content-review.com

Everything important in navigation takes place on the map: maneuvers, cameras, traffic jams and landmarks. Now more useful accents will be on the map, and it is allocated 20% more space on the screen. The main screen of the navigator focuses on the data required when driving - stripe signs that help at interchanges, cameras and parking lots. A "thermometer" appeared with the progress of the route and the display of traffic jams on the way. An important part of the navigator is a mini-map with an overview of the entire route, which can be included with one touch. By taping into a mini-card, you can evaluate the entire trip and traffic jams, adjust the route.

File:Aquote1.png
"A mini-map in the corner of the screen is a familiar story for the game world. The player looks at it without distraction from the game, and understands that he is waiting for him next - where the important points are, what should be paid more attention, and what should be avoided. So here: the main screen gives everything you need to quickly respond to current information. And the mini-map, the "thermometer" and the overview of the route give a feeling of greater confidence on the road, show what will happen in a few minutes of the trip, in a few kilometers. All this makes the trip more predictable and safe, "-

told the product manager of "2Gis" Alexander Syrkov.
File:Aquote2.png

It is important for drivers to know in advance which lane to take before the maneuver. Therefore, for the release of the navigator "2 GIS" collected and updated data on road markings and lane signs. To do this, service specialists have collected almost 100% of the data on the roads of Moscow, even in areas where there are no warning signs, and drivers have to navigate the road markings. To collect information about stripe signs in GIS, "video from recorders was used. Hints with future maneuvers began to occupy a more noticeable place on the main screen of the application - they can be seen right on the route.

Another "2 GIS" added information about speeding cameras, parking violations, driving behind the stop line or public transport lane. Also in the navigator there is information about cameras for freight transport and dummies.

File:Aquote1.png
"In my opinion, as of mid-November 2021, GIS has a fairly high surface of road cameras in Russia. The navigator shows about 50 thousand cameras on the territory of the 2Gis coverage in Russia, of which more than 9 thousand are in Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, "-

told Elena Tolkacheva, Director of the Department of Reference and Cartographic Production "2Gis."
File:Aquote2.png

GIS "warns of speed cameras with an icon above the speedometer in the corner of the screen. Here is indicated not only the current restriction, but also the location of the camera relative to the flow - in front or behind the user's car.

In GIS "there was detailed information about parking. Parking areas are marked in an additional layer on the map and are available in navigator mode, one touch when they are especially needed. The app will show all parking along the route and near the end point of the route, and will also share important details: free or paid with a free interval, public or with special access, whether there are places for people with disabilities.

As of November 18, 2021, such data were collected for 15 large cities of Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa and Chelyabinsk. It is planned that the information will be supplemented - parking data will appear in other cities.

GIS "updated the algorithm that calculates the travel time. According to the company, tests have shown that now it is determined more than 20% more accurately than before.

In the coming months, the navigator will work in beta mode. To test additional features, just update the application, go to the navigator settings in the GIS of application "and click on the" Enable new navigator "button.

Data and algorithms are already available in the SDK. Using tools for developers of geotechnology, GIS "can be used in other mobile applications. For example, some services from the Sberbank ecosystem, according to the company, are switching to GIS geotechnology. "

Virtual Assistants Salute"" already answer user questions related to geoscenaries. For example, "Sber," "Athena" or "Joy" can suggest what traffic jams in the city, how much to go to work or another address. If necessary, the assistant can build a route and open the GIS application. "

File:Aquote1.png
"And if you ask the assistant to write down for a haircut or book a table in a restaurant, then the assistant will look for companies at GIS upon request, -

says Dmitry Samozhkin, director of functional scenarios for virtual assistants "Salyut," SberDevices.

Launch of the safety rating of establishments during COVID-19

Sberbank on December 24, 2020 announced that, together with 2GIS (part of the Sberbank ecosystem), the Security Rating project is being launched - a user rating of the safety of public institutions in terms of combating the spread of COVID-19. It will show where security measures are best followed.

The rating of places will be formed based on the reviews of those visitors who visited them. They will be able to assess the implementation of safety measures by employees of institutions: the presence of antiseptics, the use of masks, and the observance of social distance.

Users can evaluate cafes, restaurants, hairdressers and beauty salons by safety parameters. Shops, fitness centers, museums, theaters and other places where it is important to comply with preventive measures will gradually be added. coronavirus

Users will be able to rate the institution in its card on the 2gis.ru - in the form of creating a review. And visitors who made a purchase at the institution and paid for it with a Sberbank card can receive a push notification to SberBank Online and write a verified review - the fact of the transaction will be confirmation that the author of the recall actually purchased the product or service.

Companies with a high rating will be marked with a special badge "It's safe here" in the online version of the 2GIS. In the future, the rating will appear in mobile applications 2GIS for iOS and Android.

File:Aquote1.png
From the very beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Sberbank has been developing and implementing technological solutions that help people in this situation. Our project is not designed to control how safety measures are observed or not observed, but so that each of us can take care of our own health, the health of our loved ones, acquaintances and strangers. After all, only by joint efforts we will be able to stop the spread of COVID-19. We hope that the "Security Rating" will make a positive contribution to this struggle, - Vladislav Kreinin, Senior Vice President, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department of Sberbank.
File:Aquote2.png

File:Aquote1.png
The "safety rating" gives a new section of information for choosing the best places in the city. It is important for us that all the information in the 2GIS is the most accurate and reliable, so confirming the user's assessment with a transaction in Sberbank is a key element of the project. Thanks to him, we know for sure that a person visited the institution and can evaluate it. This is the first release in which the synergistic effect of Sberbank's 2GIS and products is publicly manifested. We still have many tasks ahead that will benefit the audience and realize the potential that could not be done without the data of both companies - Anton Spiridonov, CTO 2GIS.

In addition to Moscow and the Moscow region, free cargo navigation "2GIS" is available in 10 million-plus cities: Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Ufa. By December 2020, the monthly audience of the cargo navigator reached 40 thousand users. In early 2021, the function will be launched in St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh.

"2GIS" presented a free cargo navigator

"2GIS" detailed information about logistics sites in cities with a population of one million: it displayed the addresses of buildings, simplifying navigation in large storage areas. In addition, the cargo navigator is already building routes between the regions of Russia, taking into account restrictions on freight transport and reflects the infrastructure along federal highways. To do this, the specialists of "2GIS" collected information about cafes, hotels, gas stations, service stations, tire assembly workshops and places of rest. On the map and in the directory "2GIS" will also appear information about parking for freight transport, their operating mode, coverage of parking areas and the presence of security. Information on roadside infrastructure is available to all users of the service: both drivers of freight transport and all motorists on long-distance trips.

The user of cargo navigation "2GIS" can in the application adjust the individual parameters of the car and cargo, such as the dimensions and weight of the car, the load on the axle. The service selects optimal routes without taking into account the streets where the passage of trucks is prohibited.

In "2GIS" reported that to launch the cargo navigator, the service cars drove more than 100 thousand kilometers to federal highways and collected a large array of data, including adding over 24 thousand new objects along the highways.

Launch of a navigator for trucks in Moscow and the Moscow region

In 2GIS, it became possible to build routes for trucks, taking into account the restrictions on the passage of freight transport on the territory of all administrative districts of Moscow and large cities of the Moscow region. This was reported on August 24, 2020 by 2GIS.

Navigator for trucks in Moscow and the Moscow region

The cargo navigator 2GIS allows you to build routes for freight transport taking into account the allowed maximum mass and dimensions of cars and the specifics of the cargo. The routes built by the navigator do not include streets that have official bans on freight traffic.

The navigator for freight transport 2GIS takes into account the cargo frame of nine administrative districts of Moscow, the restrictions indicated by road signs in the remaining three administrative districts of the capital, and all the current restrictions in 64 urban districts of the Moscow region. Algorithms 2GIS take into account the construction of routes inside the zones of the signs "The movement of trucks is prohibited" and offer entrances and exits from the zones through the nearest intersection according to traffic rules.

To collect a full base of restrictions, 2GIS drivers traveled 16 thousand kilometers of roads in Moscow and the Moscow Region collected information about 7905 road signs on the streets of Moscow and in 2763 settlements of the Moscow Region, blocked 3427 kilometers of roads in the navigator for the passage of trucks. Using the sign recognition technology from DVRs, the restrictions were automatically mapped. At the final stage, cartographers 2GIS processed controversial cases and inconsistencies to make the map even more accurate.

The option will help drivers of freight transport to build optimal routes in the navigator 2GIS in full accordance with the rules of the road, and logistics - to analyze the road situation along the route of commercial trucks in the online version of the application.

To enable the option, you need to click "Settings" → "Navigator" → "Cargo navigation" and before the trip specify the dimensions of the car and the features of the cargo.

The geography of the cargo navigator will be expanded. On August 24, it is available in the online and mobile version of 2GIS for iOS and Android.

2011: Coverage of more than 130 cities

Well known to regional users, but little-known in Moscow, the 2GIS system was developed in Novosibirsk. According to September 2011, it is a mapping service for more than 130 cities, provided free of charge in three versions: online, desktop (only for Windows) and mobile (only for Android, Symbian, iOS and Windows Mobile).

Its fundamental difference from existing cartographic systems in "2GIS" is called the independently supported database of addresses of companies and organizations superimposed on their own cartography, which provides the product with a "special quality."

Among other competitive advantages, "2GIS" calls the operation of their applications in an "honest offline," that is, the ability to search the map without accessing the Web at all. According to the developers, this property may be valuable for those who like to save traffic and battery power on mobile devices.
