The Ministry of Information and Social Communications of the Moscow Region (MISK of the Moscow Region) is the central executive body of the state power of the Moscow Region of special competence, carrying out executive and administrative activities in the Moscow Region. The ministry was formed in order to conduct the state information policy of the Moscow region, the implementation of industry management in the field of media, telecommunications, publishing, printing and book distribution in the Moscow region, implementation of the state policy of the Moscow region aimed at maintaining socio-political stability, interaction with public and professional associations, non-governmental non-profit organizations, other civil society institutions, including media communities, youth media centers, the development of national, interethnic relations and social communications, including through IT communications, work with public chambers, work with young people, studying the opinion of the population on the socio-political situation in the Moscow region and the initiatives of the Governor of the Moscow Region, executive bodies of state power of the Moscow region on the development of the Moscow region, Implementation of socially significant projects in these areas[1].
History
2022: Transformation into the Ministry of Information and Social Communications of the Moscow Region
By Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region of February 8, 2022 No. 26-PG, a decision was made to reorganize the Main Directorate of Social Communications of the Moscow Region in the form of joining the Main Directorate for Information Policy of the Moscow Region and subsequently transforming it on May 27, 2022 into the Ministry of Information and Social Communications of the Moscow Region[2] of the Moscow[2].
