The administration of the Klin city district is an executive and administrative body of local self-government of the city district, endowed with powers to resolve issues of local importance and powers to exercise certain state powers transferred to local self-government bodies by federal laws and laws of the Moscow region. The administration of the Klin city district carries out its activities within its competence in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, has the rights of a legal entity, and is the main manager of budget funds. The number of administration employees does not exceed 500 people (data as of October 2022).

History

2018: Succession and renaming of administration

By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Klin City District of January 15, 2018 No. 5/1[1], that the local governments of the Klin urban district, in accordance with their competence, are the successors of the local governments of the Klin municipal district, urban settlements Klin, Vysokovsk, Reshetnikovo, rural settlements Vozdvizhenskoye, Voroninskoye, Zubovskoye, Nudolskoye, Petrovskoye, which were part of it, in relations with the state authorities of the Russian Federation, state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, individuals and legal entities from the date of formation of the relevant local self-government bodies of the Klin city district.

By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Klin urban district of January 15, 2018 No. 9/1[2], the administration of the Klin municipal district was renamed the Administration of the Klin urban district.

2017: Klin Urban District formation

On the basis of the law of the Moscow Region dated September 20, 2017 No. 148/2017-OZ[3], the territories[3] urban settlement of Vysokovsk, the urban settlement of Klin, the urban settlement of Reshetnikovo, the rural settlement of Vozdvizhenskoye, the rural settlement of Voroninskoye, the rural settlement of Zubovskoye, the rural settlement of Nudolskoye, the rural settlement of Petrovskoye were united without changing the borders of the Klinsky municipal district. The urban settlement formed by the above change in the composition of the territory of the Klinsky municipal district is endowed with the status of an urban district - the Klin urban district. Since the formation of the Administration of the Klin urban district, the powers of the administrations of settlements and the administration of the Klin municipal district have been terminated.
