Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region (Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region) is the central executive body of state power of the Moscow region of special competence, carrying out executive and administrative activities in the field of culture and tourism throughout the Moscow region, carrying out state policy, carrying out inter-sectoral management and coordination of activities in this area of the central and territorial executive bodies of state power of the Moscow region, state bodies of the Moscow region and state institutions of the Moscow region, formed for the implementation of certain functions of public administration of the Moscow region, as well as functional regulation of activities in the field of tourism, including folk art crafts[1].
History
2022: Renamed the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region
By Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region dated February 8, 2022 No. 26-PG, the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region was reorganized in the form of joining the Tourism Committee of the Moscow Region. Since April 4, 2022, the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region has been renamed the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region[2].
