The administration of the Mytishchi city district is an executive and administrative body of local self-government of the city district, endowed with powers to resolve issues of local importance and powers to exercise certain state powers transferred to local self-government bodies by federal laws and laws of the Moscow Region[1] of the[1].
History
2016: Renamed as Administration of Mytishchi City District
By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Mytishchi Municipal District dated January 13, 2016 No.[2], the Administration of the Mytishchi Municipal District was renamed the Administration of the Mytishchi City District of the Moscow Region.
2015: Formation of Mytishchi City District
On the basis of the law of the Moscow region dated September 23, 2015 No. 147/2015-OZ[3], the territories of the urban settlement of Mytishchi, the urban settlement of Pirogovsky, the rural settlement of Fedoskinskoye were united without changing the borders of the territory of the Mytishchi municipal district. As a result of the unification of settlements, the powers of local governments and local government officials of each of the united settlements were terminated. Settlements have lost the status of municipalities. The urban settlement formed by changing the composition of the territory of the Mytishchi municipal district was endowed with the status of an urban district.
