2019: "The national register of intellectual property" received a control share in "Online the Patent"

On December 9, 2019 the Starta Capital company reported that JSC Natsionalny reestr intellektualnoy sobstvennosti which possesses service of deposition and protection of intellectual property items of n'RIS became the owner of a control share in Online Patent company. The combined efforts of the companies will be directed to creation of the new services for protection of an industrial property in global market smoothing barriers of a territorial recording system of the rights.

Within the transaction a partial exit from the project was performed by his investors — RWM Capital, Softline Venture Partners, Starta Capital (Starta Ventures group), Moscow Seed Fund and also private investors Mikhail Shtepan and Nikolay Belykh. It is a profitable exit for all participants. They returned the invested money and recorded income on investment.

According to the deputy CEO of n'RIS Valeria Brusnikina, joint work of n'RIS and "Online Patent" services will strengthen dopatentny protection of the rights using instruments of fixing of authorship to the intellectual property items provided by n'RIS service and also will become qualitatively new step forward in development of digital economy of Russia.

Merge is aimed at the synergy development of the international services provided by the companies and will promote formation of the international instruments of protection of intellectual property, the CEO Online of Patent Alina Akinshina noted. It will be able to influence all domestic market of legal technologies and will become an important event not only for development of both companies, but also for all LegalTech-industry, the development director of legal technologies of Skolkovo Foundation Anton Pronin added.
