History
The museum collection, which was started by M.I. Tchaikovsky, has become one of the largest and has about 200,000 items. In addition to the fund of P.I. Tchaikovsky, the museum contains funds of the Tchaikovsky-Davydov family. The museum houses the Philharmonic. In addition to the house of P.I. Tchaikovsky, a memorial park and manor buildings, the museum has an exposition "S.I. Taneev" and a branch - the estate "Demyanovo"

In 1921, the museum was nationalized.
1918
In 1918, the museum was issued a security certificate.
1916
In 1916, according to the will of M.I. Tchaikovsky, the house was transferred to the Moscow branch of the Russian Musical Society on the condition that it be preserved and maintained.
1894: Formation of the Company
The P.I. Tchaikovsky House-Museum, the oldest memorial music museum in Russia, was founded in 1894. The museum is located in the house that P.I. Tchaikovsky rented from the world judge V.S. Sakharov in the last years of his life.
