2023: Purchase of 100% of DiVai Technologies LLC by MTS

MTS On March 23, 2023, the company announced a TAdviser deal to acquire DY Technologies (Di Vai Technologies LLC), which is engaged in a construction plant for industrial production automotive electronics a special economic zone (Technopolice "Moscow" Alabushevo site). According to MTS calculations, the deal will contribute to the integrated development of the MTS Auto business vertical. In particular, the company will be able to use industry technologies and standards for manufacturers of cars and trucks who need to comply with 719 resolutions on the localization of the automotive industry. MTS Auto is included in the program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia AK-2035 to provide automakers with critical components and materials of the automotive industry.

In-house production plans to develop and produce products of connectivity systems (provide communication between cars and communication between users with cars^[1], note TAdviser) and telematics, hardware solutions for driving safety, on-board information and multimedia systems with integrated services of the MTS ecosystem and partners, as well as other systems as part of the development of the automotive electronics program.

The plant also assumes the placement of a laboratory for conducting industry tests and testing of developed products, as well as for third-party tests of external enterprises of the industry, MTS said.

At the same time, MTS Auto is already developing local software, which can form the basis for the production of hardware and fundamentally new solutions to ensure the safety and comfort of drivers. New products will be useful to automobile plants, new assembly sites cars- transportlogistic companies, operators car-sharing and other enterprises of the transport and infrastructure complex, concluded in the company.
