2015: Microsoft won against Novosibirsk Sibmost court about copyright violation for 1 million rub
The arbitration court of the Novosibirsk region completely satisfied the claim of Microsoft Rus corporation for collecting from the Novosibirsk JSC Sibmost of 1 million rubles for violation of the exclusive right. Interfax with reference to materials reports about it .
Microsoft submitted a claim to Sibmost in October, 2014. In the claim it was told about use of the unlicensed software in a number of branches of construction company. Judicial proceedings were twice postponed for attempts to agree on conditions of the settlement agreement, however it was not concluded.
