Foreign hacker groups are conducting mass attacks on the infrastructure of Russia, the goals of which are to obtain confidential information, disable the resources of the authorities. This cannot be allowed. Since the start of the SVO in the Rostov region, more than 8.8 thousand computer attacks and more than 3 billion suspicious requests to the websites of the authorities have been reflected. The organization of cyber policing in southern Russia is due to a high regional need. Already at the stage of opening the site, several hundred applications for training were registered.

Strategic Partnership Agreement with Softline

The agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation was signed by the rector of the reference university Besarion Meskhi and the director of business development in the region of SoftLine Trade JSC Alexander Kunitsyn, Softline reported on May 24, 2021.

Scientists of DSTU and employees of Softline will conduct scientific research in the field of creating digital technologies for intelligent transport systems, technologies of the Internet of things for use in the agro-industrial complex, digital transformation of education and piloting projects based on the Smart City platform.

The problem of personnel shortages in the IT industry has been relevant for many years.
