Creating a Company

As TAdviser found out, the Bureau 1440 company controlled by ICS Holding, which specializes in creating commercial broadband access service at high speeds based on a low-orbit satellite constellation, has opened a subsidiary development center in Belarus - Aerospace Devices CJSC.

From the explanations to the financial accounting of Bureau 1440 LLC, published in the database of the Federal Tax Service, it follows that the company made the decision to create this legal entity in December 2022 against the background of the geopolitical situation. During 2022 and 2023, the United States, the EU and some other countries continued to impose additional sanctions against the Russian government, as well as large financial institutions and other enterprises, individuals in Russia.

Additional restrictions are introduced on the supply of various goods and services to Russian enterprises. In this regard, the company decided to create a joint-stock company on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, - says the explanations to the financial accounting of Bureau 1440 for 2022.

According to the website of the Minsk City Technopark, Aerospace Devices CJSC is its resident^[1]The company's specialization is the development and production of functional units (components) of aerospace systems; design of engineering samples of components and systems of onboard devices; search, testing and optimization of technologies for creation of all components of the system aimed at their serial production.

Aerospace Instruments CJSC provides a full range of services for the development and prototyping of functional units (components) of aerospace systems, mainly drives and actuators of onboard spacecraft systems.

The company is interested in finding partners to promote products in the markets of Belarus and abroad, indicated in its description on the website of the Minsk City Technopark.

As of early July 2023, the company has published about a dozen open vacancies. For example, the engineering center of Aerospace Devices CJSC, which develops and manufactures onboard systems of spacecraft, requires a design engineer^[2]. He will have to develop the structures of the components of the spacecraft - mainly the drives and actuators of the onboard systems of spacecraft, the layout of the main elements and mutual linkage, the integration of purchased components and electronics, etc.

The Bureau 1440 did not disclose how many people work in its Belarusian development center as of early July 2023.

According to the LinkedIn social network, among the already existing employees of Aerospace Devices CJSC, at least several engineers who previously worked in the Belarusian representative office of SberAutoTech, a technology company in the Sberbank ecosystem that is developing in the field of unmanned vehicles.
