2021: Build a company to develop complex IT systems

In mid-April 2021, it became known about the creation of the Supercode company. Its founders are VTB and Rostelecom, also Protey Soft LLC, which is 80% owned by GS-Invest JSC (a joint venture of Gazprombank and Sergey Matsotsky, to which he contributed assets received after the division of the IBS business).

According to Interfax, citing data from the SPARK-Interfax system, Supercode LLC was registered on April 12, 2021. Its authorized capital is 10 million rubles, and the development of software is indicated as the main activity of the company.

Suprekod was headed by Alexander Monosov, head of Budget and Financial Technologies, a member of the GS-Invest group and specializing in supporting large information systems.

The owner of 50.01% of Supercode is Protey Soft LLC. Another 26% of the company belongs to the Center for Networking Technologies LLC, the daughter of the Data Storage Center, which combines Rostelecom's cloud and data center business, and VTB has been a partner of the state operator for the development of this area since the end of 2020. The remaining 23.99% of Supercode belongs to VTB Capital Pension Reserve LLC from VTB Group.

The press release of Rostelecom, referred to by the agency, said that the Supercode will become a center for custom development and maintenance of complex information systems, and will also provide new services for Rostelecom-Data Center customers.

It is also noted that the new company will provide services for the development of architecture and application software of information systems and their further maintenance. Services should be in demand in the face of increased demand for the speedy digital transformation of business and public administration methods, said Anna Shumeiko, senior vice president, head of the presidential staff at Rostelecom.[1]
