Russian quartz

In September, 2013 RUSNANO announced a partial exit from the capital of Russian Quartz company — the project created based on the Kyshtym mining and processing works and specializing in production of high-net quartz concentrates. As the buyer of a part of a share of RUSNANO making 16.13% of the value of authorized capital of portfolio company the new strategic investor of the project — one of the largest Japanese industrial companies — Sumitomo Corporation acts.

The project on modernization of production is begun in 2011 and is implemented at a financial support of RUSNANO. The first stage of factory of dry enrichment is at the moment already put into operation. Entry into the project of Sumitomo company will allow to accelerate considerably reaching of the enterprise design capacity and to promote achievement of the planned indicators before term. In the nearest future "The Russian quartz" is going to start the first stage of factory of deep enrichment of quartz.
