2022: Liquidation of the center

At the end of November 2022, it became known about the liquidation of the Center for Digital Transformation of Healthcare of the Sverdlovsk Region (GAU SO "CTZ," formerly "Medical Information and Analytical Center"), which was engaged in the informatization of regional hospitals and clinics.

As the local edition of the EAN clarified with reference to the regional Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, to centralize the digitalization of the healthcare industry, two state institutions are merging: the Center for the Central Tax Commission and the electronic government operator (EEP).

The Center for Digital Transformation of Health Care was liquidated in the Sverdlovsk Region

Information systems, computing resources, equipment, functions and people are being transferred to the OEP. The work is moving in accordance with the schedule for the transition to a centralized management model in the field of health, - explained the Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region. Mikhail Ponomarkov.

The liquidated CTZ was engaged, in particular, in the unification of information systems of Sverdlovsk health care into a single digital circuit. The need for this process and, accordingly, in costs was caused by problems in organizing the appointment of citizens (mainly residents of Yekaterinburg) in medical institutions, the inability to transfer and receive electronic documents from the regional and federal Ministry of Health.

According to media reports, in November 2022, the director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Healthcare of the Sverdlovsk Region, Sergei Shalimov, who headed the organization since August 2021, stopped communicating.

In winter, Sergei had questions about his work, mainly on the integration of information systems of the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health. It was necessary to solve them, since the CTZ in 2021-2022 actively bought software and equipment worth more than 500 million rubles, and the effect of these costs was incommensurable. It was impossible to get through to him, to find it too, "a source from the regional government told EAN, adding that a letter of resignation on behalf of Shalimov was received remotely by the personnel service of the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Digital Science.[1]

2021: Name change

From January 31, 2022, the full name of the organization was changed from the state autonomous health care institution of the Sverdlovsk region "Medical Information and Analytical Center" to the state autonomous institution of the Sverdlovsk region "Center for Digital Health Transformation."

2014

As of October 2014, the Medical Information and Analytical Center acted as the central link in organizing the collection, processing of information and indicators of medical statistics, medical and demographic, financial, personnel components of healthcare in the Sverdlovsk Region.
