2017: Criminal case concerning the CEO
In November, 2017 criminal case concerning Timur Svirin, at that time - CEOs Severen-Telecom came to the Vyborg district court of St. Petersburg, the joint press service of courts of St. Petersburg reported. He was accused of commercial bribery in especially large size (Part 7 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and attempt at fraud (Article 30, Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In April, 2011 there was a company takeover and it was a part of assets of JSC Rostelecom as subsidiary company.
On December 27, 2010 JSC North-West Telecom acquired 100% of shares of Severen-Telecom Ltd, one of the largest alternative operators of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Transaction amount was about 28 million US dollars, without debt obligations of the company. At the time of acquisition the net debt of Severen-Telecom Ltd made 1.9 million US dollars.
