Amur State University named after Sholom Aleichem

The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Amur State University named after Sholem Aleichem" is a unitary non-profit organization created in the form of a federal state budgetary institution. It is an educational organization of higher education that carries out educational activities on educational programs of higher education and scientific activities created to carry out educational, scientific, social and other functions of a non-commercial nature as the main purpose of activity.

History

2018

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 15, 2018 No. 215 "On the Structure of Federal Executive Bodies" and the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 27, 2018 No. 1293-r, the University was transferred to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

2015

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated December 16, 2015, No. 1479 was renamed the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Amur State University named after Sholem Aleichem."

2011

Renaming to Amur State University named after Sholem Aleichem

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of November 24, 2011 No. 2746, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Far Eastern State Social and Humanitarian Academy" was renamed the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Amur State University named after Sholem Aleichem."

Reorganization

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of May 23, 2011 - the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Far Eastern State Social and Humanitarian Academy."

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated June 23, 2011 No. 2051, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Far Eastern State Social and Humanitarian Academy" was reorganized in the form of the Federal State Educational Institution of Secondary Vocational Education "Birobidzhan-Humanitarian industrially College" and the Federal State Educational Institution of Secondary Vocational Education "Birobidzhan Mechanical Technological College" light industry as structural units.

2005: Renaming as Far Eastern State Social and Humanitarian Academy

By order of the Federal Agency for Education of October 4, 2005, the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Birobidzhan State Pedagogical Institute" was renamed the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Far Eastern State Social and Humanitarian Academy."

2002

October 10, 2002 entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities as the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Birobidzhan State Pedagogical Institute."

1984: Creation

The university was formed by decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of March 1, 1984 No. 217 and by order of the Ministry of Public Education of the RSFSR of January 25, 1989 No. 29 as the Birobidzhan State Pedagogical Institute.
