2022: Sale of Shell's stake in Gazprom Neft joint venture

As it became known on May 23, 2022, Shell sold Gazprom Neft its stake in their joint venture (JV). We are talking about the Gydan Energy company, which was engaged in the study and development of the Leskinsky and Pukhutsyakhsky license areas on the Gydan Peninsula. The financial and other parameters of the transaction are not specified.

According to TASS, citing data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, 100% of Gydan Energy from May 19, 2022 Gazprom Neft. Initially, the joint venture was managed by Gazprom Neft and Shell on a parity basis. The holdings combined their resources and competencies to develop a promising cluster in the northeast of the Gydan Peninsula in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
