Cherepovets state district power plant (ChGRES) — the thermal power station which is in the urban-type settlement of Kaduy Kaduysky of the municipal district of the Vologda region of Russia. Provides with electrical energy the Vologda and Cherepovets node. Besides, ChGRES provides with heat and Kaduy drinking water.

Cherepovets state district power plant — most large scale power station of the Vologda region and one of the largest stations of the Northwestern Federal District, with an installed capacity of 630 MW. The station consists of three identical condensation blocks on 210 MW. The first power unit of Cherepovets state district power plant is launched in operation on December 22, 1976. The second and third blocks were launched respectively in 1977, 1978. The main fuel of the station — gas or coal, reserve fuel — fuel oil.

The Cherepovets state district power plant is OGK-6 branch of JSC.
