2020: Mishustin allocated 3.9 billion rubles for the construction of a radiological center in St. Petersburg

On September 21, 2020, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a government decree, according to which 3.9 billion rubles will be allocated from the budget for the construction of a radiological center at the V. A. Almazov National Medical Research Center in St. Petersburg.

The construction of the complex should begin in 2020, and be completed in 2023. He will take the first patients in 2024. The area of ​ ​ the center will be 8.5 thousand square meters. m.

It is noted that the medical facility will be equipped with modern equipment for the production of radiopharmaceuticals, hybrid scanners for the diagnosis of cancer, a bed fund for radionuclide therapy.
