The Skolkovo Foundation, the Russian Export Center (REC), Sistema Asia (AFK Sistema subsidiary company) and Enterprise Singapore signed the memorandum of creation of the Center of digital innovations and information and communication technologies ("ICT Center") in September, 2018. In Russia it will work based on Skolkovo Foundation and REC, and in Singapore – based on Sistema Asia. The center will become the platform for promotion of the Russian ICT companies in Singapore and the countries of Southeast Asia and the Singapore ICT companies in Russia.

The memorandum is signed within the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Maxim Akimov to Singapore at the ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Singapore commission of the high level.

As expected, work of "ICT Center" will help development of strategic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Singapore, including will increase growth of export revenue of the Russian and Singapore companies due to promotion of ICT of products and services in the markets of Russia and Singapore. Besides, the ICT Center will promote establishment of mutually beneficial business cooperation and expansion of exchange of the ideas and developments between the countries and also to creation of the joint Russian-Singapore ventures and their support in the field of export and increase in revenue due to promotion of the products created as a result of cooperation of ICT outside the house markets.

According to the memorandum, selection among the Russian companies of the industry – both the innovation startups, and the companies which already well proved in Russia and aiming to enter international market will be made. The best of them will get necessary consulting and organizational support and the right to take place on the platform of "ICT Center".
