The Moscow Reference Center for Radiation Diagnostics (MRC) is a television and radio center organized in the system. state health care Legally, this is a structural unit Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow Department of Health.

MRC tasks:

  • centralization of remote description of radiological examinations;

History

2022: Expanding the staff of doctors

The Moscow Reference Center for Radiation Diagnostics (MRC) of the NPCC DiT was replenished with doctors. About 250 qualified specialists work at the MRC: among them 13 candidates of sciences, 1 doctor of sciences and 7 radiologists have the status of "Moscow Doctor." This was announced on August 22, 2022 by the NPCC DIT DZM (Scientific and Practical Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine Technologies of the Moscow Department of Health).

MRC is a model for organizing a diagnostic service based on telemedicine technologies. One of their key tasks is to optimize work: improving the quality and productivity of work.

We can proudly say that we are moving in the right direction. The team of the Reference Center is regularly replenished, doctors get the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with colleagues - first-class specialists. The work of the MRC radiologists is designed to ensure a continuous process and be comfortable for specialists, thanks to which productivity is colossal: fast and accurate diagnostics for planning patient treatment tactics, high-quality radiation research using telemedicine technologies, timely provision of medical care, - said the director of the Center Yuri Vasiliev.

The Reference Center offers a system of mentoring and consultation with experts for adaptation. The distribution of tasks takes place in areas and subspecialties, depending on the areas and methods of research in which MRC doctors are most competent.

For specialists in the MRC, regular rotation is provided for all types of research. If desired, all radiologists can undergo free training on the basis of the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine in order to expand their competencies.

In addition, consultations on complex diagnostic cases are constantly held at the Moscow Reference Center; if necessary, foreign colleagues are involved in the work.

The reference center has become another milestone in the development of digital technologies in medicine. The device and operation of the MRC meets modern tasks and challenges that arise before the X-ray service. Moscow One of the main indicators of the effectiveness of our work was a 75% reduction in the time for preparing the conclusion, - said Yuri Vasiliev.
