2023: Blood sampling tube deliveries begin

In early March 2023, Rostec"" announced the start of deliveries of sampling tubes for the fence. blood The project is being implemented by the Research Engineering Institute (NIII), which is part of the state corporation.

He supplies vacuum tubes for the collection of venous blood to medical centers and laboratories of the Russian Federation. In 2023, the company plans to produce 40 million such products, and in 2024 - up to 70 million units, which will reduce the need to supply these products from abroad. The first batches of goods were sent to medical institutions in Moscow. Requests for products also come from Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Bryansk, Kurgan regions, Krasnodar and Altai Territories and other regions of the country.

In 2023, Rostec "plans to produce 40 million test tubes

Vacuum tubes are designed for the safe intake of biomaterial, its transportation and storage, without them it is impossible to obtain an accurate result of the study. NIII produces 52 types of tubes for all major blood tests. Medical devices allow you to obtain the most accurate study results, it is convenient to transport, store and freeze samples in them. Their use minimizes the risk of infection of doctors or patients during blood sampling. Test tubes are tested according to 12 different parameters in a special laboratory that prepares reagents and examines finished products. The production of test tubes at NIII is carried out with the support of the Industrial Development Fund.

As noted in Rostec, tests based on venous blood are the most massive, and therefore the production of test tubes for them within the country is of great importance. In terms of quality, Russian products are in no way inferior to imported analogues, the first reviews of our products are only positive, the state corporation said. They added that by the beginning of March 2023, work in NIII is carried out in two shifts, each of which produces 40 thousand test tubes.[1]

2022: The launch of the production of vacuum tubes in Balashikha for 436 million rubles

On August 10, 2022, Rostec announced the launch in the Moscow Region of the production of vacuum tubes for the collection of venous blood. Investments in the project amounted to 436 million rubles.

Vacuum tubes for venous blood provide a highly accurate test result, minimize the risk of infection of the medical staff or patient during the procedure, and also allow the transportation, storage and deep freezing of the samples taken.

Rostec launched the production of vacuum tubes in Balashikha

According to the press service of the state corporation, the area of the new workshop on the basis of the Scientific Research Engineering Institute (NIII) in Balashikha near Moscow exceeds 1200 square meters. meters. The full production cycle is concentrated here - from casting test tubes to assembly and closure. The capacity of the production line is 12 thousand tubes per hour with the possibility of a significant increase in volumes.

According to Rostec, a total of 16 different parameters are tested for test tubes. The company has its own laboratory for the preparation of reagents and expert verification of ready-made test tubes. The products almost completely consist of domestic raw materials. Work to reduce dependence on components of foreign production is ongoing.

Supplies of NIII products will be established in Russian medical centers and laboratories engaged in blood collection and research. Rostec executive director Oleg Yevtushenko said that by 2024 it is planned to enter production of 70 million test tubes annually.
