2018: Cisco purchased Ensoft
In November, 2018 the American producer of network equipment Cisco announced Ensoft acquisition. The transaction is going to be closed in the second quarter 2019 financial year. How many Cisco paid for this purchase, it is unknown. On the website Ensoft it is said that annual revenues of the company grew to 10 million pounds sterling. About what year there is a speech, it is not specified.
As the vice president of Cisco for corporate development Rob Salvagno wrote in the blog of the company, Ensoft acquisition "supports our obligation for simplification of networks of telecom operators through automation and programmability".
The top manager also noted that the strategy of Cisco in the field of the network software is concentrated around "the simplified, scaled, reliable and automated infrastructure of IP networks".

After closing of the transaction all personnel of Ensoft will join division of Cisco Service Provider Networking Group which is directed by the senior vice president and the general manager Sumeet Arora.[1]
